📢 ASF AWARENESS ADVISORY‼️

The Municipality of Lake Sebu, through the Office of the Municipal Mayor and Municipal Agriculturist Office, has implemented Precautionary Animal Quarantine Checkpoints at strategic entry and exit points to help prevent the possible entry of African Swine Fever (ASF) into our municipality.

✅ Reminder to all residents, travelers, traders, and hog raisers:

-Do not bring live pigs and processed pork products from ASF-affected areas without proper permits and inspection.

-Cooperate with checkpoint personnel during inspections.

-Immediately report any unusual sickness or death of pigs to your Barangay Officials or the Municipal Agriculture Office.

Help us protect the livelihood of our local hog raisers by following ASF prevention measures.

Together, let us keep Lake Sebu ASF-Free and safeguard our local swine industry.

All interested hog raisers are advised to visit the Office of Municipal Agriculturist located at sitio lugan, barangay poblacion, lake sebu.

🌿 RE-ECHO OF ABACA SCRUNCH AND BAG MAKING ACTIVITY 🌿

The Tribal Unified Group on Economic Development, with the technical assistance and support of the Municipal Agriculture Office of Lake Sebu, conducted a Re-Echo of Abaca Scrunch and Bag Making Activity on September 2–3, 2026 at Lamdalag, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato.

The activity was conducted to enhance the knowledge and skills of participants in excess abaca fiber utilization, product development, and value-adding, particularly in the production of abaca-based scrunches and bags.

The re-echo activity also aims to promote the sustainable utilization of locally available agricultural resources, encourage the development of marketable value-added products, and provide opportunities for additional livelihood and income generation among community members.

The Municipal Agriculture Office expresses its continued commitment to supporting farmers, Indigenous Peoples’ organizations, and community-based groups in developing viable and sustainable agricultural enterprises.

4H Club Joins Linggo ng Kabataan Agri-Youth Product Display Contest

The 4H Club members of Lake Sebu and Jean Grosnick Memorial Academy, Inc. of Luhib, together with their dedicated advisers, Sir Micheal John Panaligan and Ma’am Manilyn Panaligan , proudly participated in the Linggo ng Kabataan Agri-Youth Product Display Contest facilitated by Municipal LyLYDO Lake Sebu on August 19, 2026 at Municipal Gymnasium.

The activity showcased the creativity, skills, and appreciation of the youth for agriculture and locally produced products.

The Municipal Agriculture Office headed by Engr. Marvin C. Aboy Congratulates our young 4H Club members for actively promoting agriculture, entrepreneurship, and youth participation!
