𝟯𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗣 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 || MAFAR-BARMM joins the nation in honoring the 38th Anniversary of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) with the theme: “𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙋𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡, 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙤.”

𝐌𝐀𝐅𝐀𝐑 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐒 𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐃

Farming knowledge becomes more useful when farmers can see it, practice it, and learn it directly in the field. On August 27, 2026, MAFAR-Lanao del Sur conducted a Farmers Field Day in Sungod, Marawi City, bringing together 19 farmer-participants for hands-on agricultural learning.

Using a dedicated field plot as their learning laboratory, the farmers gained practical experience in key stages of crop production, from land preparation to harvesting.

The program was initiated by the Agriculture Division, headed by Chief Agriculturist Engr. Abdulgaphar L. Sansarona, while the said ceremony was led by Provincial Director Atty. Khalid D. Ansano, PABE.

Through field-based learning, MAFAR-Lanao del Sur continues to bring practical agricultural knowledge closer to farming communities and help farmers build skills they can apply in their own fields.

👀 𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗞𝗔 | Binigyan ng dagdag na kaalaman at kasanayan sa cassava production ang mga lokal na magsasaka sa Marogong, Lanao del Sur.

Isinagawa ng MAFAR-Lanao del Sur, sa pamamagitan ng Agricultural Services Division at katuwang ang MAFAR-Marogong, ang training noong Agosto 18 upang palakasin ang kaalaman ng mga magsasaka at suporta sa cassava bilang agricultural commodity.

👀 𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗞𝗔 | May dagdag na kaalaman ang mga cacao farmers sa Tagoranao, Bayang matapos ang training sa cacao production na isinagawa ng MAFAR-Lanao del Sur noong Agosto 12.

Tinalakay sa training ang cacao grafting, tamang seedling transplanting, systematic pruning at rejuvenation ng mga hindi produktibong puno. Natutunan din ng mga magsasaka ang pagpaparami ng high-yielding at disease-resistant varieties at paggamit ng side-grafting upang mapabuti ang produksyon ng cacao.

A total of 18 On-the-Job Trainees (OJTs) from Mindanao State University (MSU) have successfully completed their OJT at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR) – Lanao del Sur.

A Culmination Program was held on August 20, 2026, at the MAFAR Social Hall, Marawi City, where MAFAR-LDS officials graced the activity and shared words of encouragement and valuable messages with the OJTs.

MAFAR-Lanao del Sur sincerely thanks our OJTs for trusting and choosing our office as part of your learning journey. We are grateful to have been part of your growth and professional development.
