As such, there will be no classes or office work on this day.

IN PHOTOS | Alhamdulillah, the Barangay Officials of BLGU Linuk headed by Hon. Aslia A. Dipatuan successfully conducted our Annual Iftar Drive for the six Masjids in Barangay Linuk, Pualas, Lanao del Sur.

With grateful hearts, we thank Allah for allowing us to once again carry out this meaningful activity during the blessed month of Ramadan. Through the collective efforts of our barangay officials, volunteers, and generous supporters, we were able to share Iftar meals and extend assistance to our brothers and sisters across the six Masjids in our community. This initiative is not only about providing food for the breaking of the fast, but also about strengthening unity, compassion, and the spirit of giving among our people.

Ramadan reminds us of the importance of generosity, empathy, and service to others. Seeing the smiles, gratitude, and togetherness in each Masjid truly warms our hearts and inspires us to continue doing more for our community. Every small act of kindness, every helping hand, and every contribution made this initiative possible and meaningful.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who supported and contributed to this effort — from those who prepared the meals, assisted in the distribution, donated resources, and offered their time and energy. Your generosity and dedication reflect the true essence of Ramadan.

Forty-nine years ago, our nation stood as one—hearts united, voices strong, and courage.

The People Power Revolution was not simply a moment etched in our nation’s history, but a powerful expression of the Filipino people’s unwavering courage, deep love for freedom, and unbreakable unity in the face of adversity. It stood as a shining example to the world that when ordinary citizens come together with faith, determination, and hope, they can overcome fear and restore democracy without violence.

Today, as we remember this historic triumph, we do so not only with pride and gratitude for those who came before us, but also with a renewed sense of responsibility to uphold the values it represents—justice, dignity, and solidarity. The spirit of EDSA lives on in each of us, reminding every Filipino that the strength of a nation lies in its people, and that safeguarding our hard-earned freedom and democracy is a duty we must continue to embrace with courage and unity.
