The City of Lapu-Lapu Office for Substance Abuse Prevention (CLOSAP) successfully facilitated the intake and enrollment of fifty-five (55) court-referred individuals into the Outpatient Drug Rehabilitation Program last March 20, 2026.

Through structured interventions, counseling, and community-based support, these participants are given the opportunity to rebuild their lives and become productive members of society.

As part of the orientation process, the immediate family members of the participants will also attend an orientation session next week, recognizing the vital role of family support in the journey towards recovery.

The City of Lapu-Lapu Office for Substance Abuse Prevention (CLOSAP) informs the public that our office will be open to accommodate the admission of court-mandated individuals and Outpatient Drug Rehabilitation Services on March 20 (Friday) from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon.

The 1st Quarter Meeting of the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) was successfully conducted today at SP Session Conference Room. This brings together council members and partner agencies committed to strengthening the city’s fight against illegal drugs.

The activity also served as a platform for agencies and stakeholders to review accomplishments, address current challenges, and align plans and programs for the upcoming months.

Lapu-Lapu City remains steadfast in promoting a safe, healthy, and drug-free environment for all its residents and employees, with the City of Lapu-Lapu Office for Substance Abuse Prevention (CLOSAP) at the forefront of implementing effective preventive measures against substance abuse.

As your Mayor, I want to make it clear: walay lugar ang ilegal nga droga sa serbisyo publiko. Kung kinsa man ang masakpan nga nalambigit sa paggamit og ilegal nga droga, dili gyud nato tugotan nga magpadayon pa sa serbisyo. Public service is a position of trust, and we will never compromise that trust. Dili nato tugutan nga ang katawhan mosalig sa mga empleyado nga wala nagpakabana sa balaod ug integridad.
