REPORT BULLYING!

Last week, adunay nahitabo nga duha ka managlahing kagubot sa mga public schools nga nag-involve og physical tali sa mga students. Usa kini ka serious concern maong kaganihang buntag, nagpatawag kita og emergency meeting kuyog ang DepEd Lapu-Lapu City, Lapu-Lapu City Police Office, ang City Social Welfare and Development ug ang atong mga barangay. Ang urgent nga action plans nga namugna kay ang pagbutang og dugang nga mga tanod ug kapulisan nga magbantay sa matag schools, ato sab gipapun-an sa matag barangay ang CCTV.

Ato sab nasuta nga ang sinugdanan sa mga kagubot kay ang bullying sulod sa school. Nagsugod sa ginagmay nga bully nga maoy hinungdan sa pagkamugna og tensyon ug nisantop sa pisikalay. Maong karon, panawagan nak sa tanang mga students nga isumbong ang mga bullying pinaagi sa tulo ka paagi:

1. Gamit ang OneLapuLapu Super App - pwede na ka makasumbong bisag registered o wala pa ka nagregister sa app.
2. Pwede sab mogamit sa atong City Official Website nga https://lapulapucitygov.ph
3. Pwede sab ka motawag sa atong 911

Mamahimo sab mo mo-report directly sa inyung mga maestra kay aron mapitol dayon sa mga teachers ang panghitabo sa dili pa kini modako. Nagpasalamat ko sa atong mga LLCPO, DepEd, sa CSWDO ug sa atong mga Kapitan nga mihatag gayud og suporta sa atong opisina in behalf of the Lapu-Lapu City Government aron gyud nga maundang ang bullying sa school ug sa samang higayon maundang na pod ang mga kagubot. We will do everything to make every school safe for every Oponganon learners!

THIS COMING August 07, 2026 ROADS LEADING TO LIBERTY SHRINE WILL BE CLOSED TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC TO GIVE WAY TO THE REYNA BULAKNA FUN RUNALL TRUCKS, WINGVANS, TANKER AND DUMPTRUCKS IS NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER TO PUNTA ENGAñO DURING THIS EVENT.

THE ROAD CLOSURE WILL START AT AROUND 4PM UNTIL 9:00PM.

IRON MAN TRAFFIC ADVISORY 2026 (NEW Updated post for Punta Engaño Road)
FULL ROAD CLOSURE
August 9, 2026 (Sunday)
4:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Affected Roads:
• Roads from Mactan Junction all the way to Mangal, Punta Engaño.
• Roads from Mactan Junction towards Marigondon, all the way to the Panas–Cordova–Lapu-Lapu boundary.
• Roads from Mactan Newtown Boulevard to Mactan Junction (Traffic Light) towards Marigondon, continuing down to Suba-Panas and to Lapu-Lapu City.
• Cordova boundary for the BIKE LEG from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
• Roads from Mactan Newtown to Punta Engaño for the RUN LEG from 4:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Onward
• All roads that intersect and cross these routes will also be affected.
Public Advisory:
✅ All motorists, especially those with scheduled flights, are advised to leave as early as possible before the road closure begins at 4:00 AM.
✅ All motorists are advised to use any available alternate routes during the event.

PRO7 HONORS RD'S CUP CHAMPIONS, SETS RECORD WITH 1,148 SHOOTERS, RAISES P3.3 MILLION FOR MOBILE COMMAND CENTER

The Police Regional Office 7 (PRO7), under the leadership of Regional Director PBGEN ARNOLD E. ABAD, honored the champions of the inaugural RD's Cup 2026 (Shoot for a Cause) during an awarding ceremony held on August 3, 2026, at Camp Sergio Osmeña Sr., Cebu City.

The four-day competition, held from July 16 to 19 at the Cebu Wonderland Shooters Club in Lapu-Lapu City, brought together 1,148 shooters, making it the largest PSMOC-certified Level 2 shooting match ever conducted in the country. The event showcased exceptional marksmanship while strengthening camaraderie among law enforcement personnel, the shooting community, and stakeholders.

PBGEN Abad congratulated all winners and participants for their discipline, sportsmanship, and outstanding performance. He likewise expressed his sincere gratitude to the Regional Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (RAGPTD) 7 led by Chairman Eric Mendoza, Cebu Wonderland Shooters Club CEO Felix Y. Gochan III, sponsors, local chief executives, stakeholders, and partner organizations whose unwavering support made the event a resounding success.

"The success of the inaugural RD's Cup reflects the strength of collaboration between the police, the private sector, local government units, and the community. Together, we have demonstrated how partnership can translate into meaningful capability enhancement for public safety," PBGEN Abad said.

He also recognized the Cebu shooting community for helping establish a national milestone through its overwhelming participation.

"The record participation of 1,148 shooters in a PSMOC-certified Level 2 match is a remarkable achievement. It reflects the growing commitment of our shooting community to support initiatives that strengthen police capability and public safety," he added.

The Regional Director announced that the event generated more than ₱3.3 million in proceeds, which will fund the acquisition of a fully equipped Mobile Command Center for PRO7. The facility will significantly enhance command-and-control operations and ensure uninterrupted police services during disasters, emergencies, and major public safety incidents across Central Visayas.

The success of the inaugural RD's Cup highlights the enduring partnership among the Philippine National Police, local government units, the private sector, and civil society in advancing a more capable, resilient, and disaster-ready police force under the banner of "Bagong PNP Para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman."
