Community Engagement through Dialogue and Distribution of IEC Materials

On August 6, 2026, personnel of this station, led by PCpl Gilbert S Madrid, Mobile Responder, under the direct supervision of PCPT MARK ANTHONY G APSAY, Officer-in-Charge of PS5, LCPO, conducted an enhanced police presence, information drive through dialogue and distributed Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials on Crime Prevention, Effects of E-Sabong, the Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign in line with the Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) initiatives, and Anti-Terrorism Awareness in relation to NTF-ELCAC to the Residents of Sitio Cemento, Barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City.

This initiative aims to raise public awareness, enhance vigilance, and promote active community participation, as part of the continuing effort to maintain peace, order, and security within the community.

Empowering Community Partners for a Safer Tomorrow

On August 6, 2026, Pat Jielson G Sabacahay, CAD PNCO, and Pat Elvin Jun B Nangkil, Assistant CAD, under the direct supervision of PCPT MARK ANTHONY G APSAY, Officer-in-Charge of Police Station 5, conducted a community dialogue on Crime Prevention, Drug Abuse Prevention and Control in support of the Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) Initiative, and Anti-Terrorism in line with the NTF-ELCAC campaign for the Sitio Collaborators, Auxiliary Team, Barangay Public Safety Officers (BPSO), and Barangay Health Workers (BHW) of Barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City. The activity was held at the Pusok Barangay Hall, Lapu-Lapu City.

The dialogue aimed to strengthen community awareness, foster vigilance, and encourage active public participation in maintaining peace, order, and public safety. Participants were likewise encouraged to immediately report crimes, emergencies, and fire incidents by calling the Unified Emergency Hotline 911 or coordinating with the appropriate authorities. Emphasis was placed on the importance of timely reporting to enable a swift response, protect lives and property, and help build a safer, more secure, and resilient Barangay Pusok.
