AUGUST 25, 2026 | MAHIGIT TATLONG DEKADA NA ANG TESDA at marami na ang gainfully employed, here and abroad, pagkatapos ng Technical-Vocational Education and Training, lalo na sa service at technical sectors.

Maayos na pinagkakakitaan ang main concern ng nakakarami, kung kaya sulyapan ang TESDA, lalo na kung:

☑️ikaw ay underemployed;
☑️hindi matustusan ang pagkokolehiyo;
☑️college graduate but in a rut dahil hindi pa ma-empleyo;
☑️hangad ang practical qualification para sa trabahong malapit sa puso.

Maraming free online courses na mapag-pipilian at kung face-to-face sa Lasam Institute of Technology, may subsidy sa pang-araw-araw, materials and uniform—at may basic insurance pa sa ilang programa.

Dahil priority rin ng LGU-Lasam na makapagbigay ng oportunidad sa mas maraming Lasameño, may sariling community-based training programs din ang ating Public Employment and Services Office, in cooperation with TESDA.

ANG PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT SERVICES OFFICE sa ating munisipyo ay hindi lamang nagpa-facilitate ng Government Internship Program (GIP), Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES), Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Displaced Workers (TUPAD), Job Fairs o Special Recruitment Activities, at Career Development Services Program (CDSP). Bahagi rin sa mga serbisyo nitong mapangalagaan ang kapakanan ng mga empleyado kung kaya nag-iikot ngayon ang mga kawani ng PESO-Lasam, nang ma-update din ang employment data tungkol sa ating mga manggagawang Lasameño.

FULLY-PAID. The Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) beneficiaries received their 60% share of their salaries from the Local Government Unit of Lasam, in support of their temporary employment and valuable work experience.

The payout was attended by Municipal Mayor Hon. Dante Dexter A. Agatep, who expressed his continued support for programs that provide the youth with opportunities to gain experience, develop skills, and earn while learning.
