The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) extends its deepest condolences to the family, loved ones, and constituents of Vice Mayor Aimee Paz Lamasan following her untimely death.

Based on initial information, the incident is related to an alleged accidental firing that occurred on December 30, 2025. In response, PRO6 immediately undertook decisive measures to ensure a thorough, impartial, and evidence-based investigation.

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) LAMASAN has been created to handle the case exclusively. All available leads are being carefully examined, with close coordination among concerned law enforcement units, local authorities, and the victim’s family to establish the facts based strictly on evidence.

PRO6 appeals to the public to refrain from speculation and to allow investigators to perform their duties without prejudice. Verified information will be released through official channels as it becomes available.

SYMPOSIUM at Leganes National High School!

In line with PNP PATROL PLAN 2030, On November 28, 2025 @ 9: 00 AM, Leganes MPS personnel, under the supervision of PCPT GENERAL ENRIQUE V ROBLES, OIC, were invited as speakers for the Barkada Kontra Droga Club of Leganes National High School in celebration of the upcoming 2025 National Filipino Values Month. This year’s theme is: “Bagong Pilipinas, Bagong Pag-asa: Pagkakaisa at Pananagutan Para sa Makabuluhang Pagbabago.”

The discussion focused on anti-illegal drugs and drug abuse prevention, aiming to educate students about the dangers of illegal substances and promote responsible behavior. The attendees were Grade 11 and Grade 12 students of the school.

The activity served as an important platform to spread awareness and provide information on the harmful effects of drugs, reinforcing the values of unity and responsibility among the youth for meaningful change in society.

On the Second Day of Religious Assemblies
November 18, 2025

The Philippine National Police extends its heartfelt appreciation to the hundreds of thousands of participants who joined yesterday’s religious gathering and helped keep the second day of the assemblies peaceful and orderly.

The crowd at the Quirino Grandstand reached an estimated 550,000 participants. Despite the large turnout, the atmosphere remained calm, organized, and respectful. We sincerely thank the public for their discipline, cooperation, and adherence to safety reminders, which were crucial in maintaining a secure environment for everyone.

We also commend our police personnel for their professionalism, strict observance of maximum tolerance, and tireless dedication in safeguarding the public. Their service, together with the community’s cooperation, reflects the strongest form of shared responsibility.

SECURITY OPERATIONS IN RELATION TO INC RALLY!

In line with PNP PATROL PLAN 2030 and in connection with the ongoing Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) rally, personnel of Leganes Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of PLT ALBERT SOGO-AN, DCOP, conducted intensified patrol operations, Police Visibility throughout the municipality.
These measures were implemented to ensure public safety, maintain peace and order, and prevent any potential security threats during the mass gathering. Operations also focused on monitoring vehicular movement, deterring unlawful activities, and providing police presence in strategic locations.
