In support of the Brigada Eskwela 2026 theme, โBayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,โ the San Francisco Institute of Science and Technology (SFIST) actively participated in the annual school maintenance and community engagement program at Malilipot National High School.
The activity was carried out by the Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II trainees under the guidance of their trainer, Mr. Rozil Loreto, together with the Hard Trade Unit Head, Engr. Cyberg Joseph Oribiada. The trainees rendered electrical maintenance and repair services to help ensure that school facilities are safe, functional, and ready for the opening of classes.
Joining the initiative was Mr. Jayben Carretero, who supervised trainees in the troubleshooting and repair of domestic appliances utilized by the school. The activity provided an opportunity for trainees to apply their acquired technical competencies in a real-world setting while fostering teamwork, volunteerism, and social responsibility.
Through this collaborative effort, SFIST continues to demonstrate its commitment to community development and nation-building by extending technical expertise and manpower to support educational institutions.
The activity embodies the essence of the Brigada Eskwela 2026 theme, โBayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,โ showcasing how partnerships among schools, training institutions, and community stakeholders can work together toward the common goal of promoting quality education and safe learning spaces for all.
