Today, we honor the heroes who stood for the Filipino people—not only with courage, but with principles, sacrifice, and an unwavering love for the nation.
Our heroes remind us that patriotism is more than remembering names in history books. It is choosing to serve when it is difficult, speaking up when it matters, and putting the welfare of the many above personal interest.
𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗬 𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗔 𝗔𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗧 𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡. 𝗜𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗕𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗧 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗞𝗢𝗗 𝗔𝗧 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗔 𝗨𝗡𝗔𝗛𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡.
From the revolutionaries who fought for our freedom, to teachers shaping young minds, farmers feeding our communities, workers keeping our economy moving, health workers caring for others, volunteers responding to disasters, and young people choosing to participate in nation-building—𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗜 𝗦𝗔 𝗕𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗢𝗞 𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗦.
Being a hero today does not always mean doing something extraordinary. Sometimes, it means doing the right thing when nobody is watching. It means paying taxes honestly, helping a neighbor, protecting our environment, respecting our fellow Filipinos, voting wisely, and demanding better—not just for ourselves, but for the next generation.
𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡 𝗞𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗣𝗘𝗞𝗧𝗢 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗜. 𝗞𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗡, 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗠, 𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗞𝗢𝗗.
As we remember the heroes who came before us, may we also recognize our responsibility to continue what they started.
The Philippines does not only need heroes we can commemorate. 𝗞𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔, 𝗠𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧, 𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗡.
