Legazpi City Achieves Record Milestone in Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign

Legazpi City has officially become the first city in the Philippines to surpass the 95% target for the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR SIA), reaching an impressive 97.27% accomplishment rate! 🇵🇭🏆

This milestone reflects the power of unified leadership, dedicated healthcare teams, and community trust.

Heartfelt gratitude and appreciation go out to:

👏🏻 Dr. Francis Gerald Gomez for driving this program to surpass 95%, securing the top spot in the entire country for Legazpi City with an impressive rating of 97.27%.

👏🏻 City Councilor Sunshine Imperial, Chairperson on Health and Sanitation, for championing the city’s immunization programs.

👏🏻 The Punong Barangays and Councils across all 70 barangays, together with the Barangay Kagawads on Health, for community mobilization and ensuring grassroots accessibility.

👏🏻 The City Health Office (CHO) division heads, section heads, and staff for their tireless coordination and dedication.
