The DILG Albay Provincial Office, through its Cluster II Operations Office, remains steadfast in its mission to empower LGUs, strengthen intergovernmental collaboration, and enhance governance excellence through the successful conduct of the Collaboration Activity with the Local Government Units of Polangui and Libon held last March 19, 2026.
Key discussions covered a comparative review of last yearโs performance assessments, including CFLGA, LCPC Assessment, LCAT-VAWC Functionality Assessment, POC Performance Audit, and ADAC Functionality Assessment. Updates on the status of LGU-mandated plans and Local Government Support FundโSupport to the Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP) Projects were also discussed during the activity. These insights will help the LGUs assess progress, identify gaps, and strengthen its preparations for the upcoming assessments.
The activity provided valuable insights into LGUโs governance performance, enabling the LGU to identify strengths, address areas for improvement, and reinforce strategies for sustainable development. The discussions emphasized the importance of transparent leadership, strong local policies, and effective public service delivery to achieve lasting progress.
