𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹

The District and Division Checking for Grade 6, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 was successfully conducted today, March 23, 2026, at Lagangilang Central School. The activity was actively participated in by teachers from Licuan-Baay Central School and its cluster schools, demonstrating strong collaboration and commitment to ensuring quality education and accurate assessment practices.

The school extends its sincere gratitude to the Division Team led by Ma’am Hedwig M. Belmes for their guidance and support throughout the process. Appreciation is also given to the District Checking Committee headed by Ma’am Manuela Garcia (LALABALICMA PSDS) for their leadership and dedication in facilitating a smooth, organized, and efficient checking activity. Their collective efforts significantly contributed to the success of the undertaking.

In celebration of National Toothbrushing Day, Bulbulala Primary School joined the nationwide effort to promote proper oral hygiene among our young learners. Through this activity, pupils were reminded of the importance of brushing their teeth to keep their smiles healthy and bright. This meaningful initiative was successfully carried out under the guidance and leadership of our School Head, Ma’am Blanca Ma Lourdes, fostering healthy habits that will last a lifetime. 🦷

The 22nd National Oral Health Month in the Philippines is celebrated in February 2026, focusing on promoting oral health awareness through the theme “𝑇𝑎𝑟𝑎 𝑛𝑎! 𝐶𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑡 𝐹𝑙𝑢𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑑𝑒, 𝑆𝑎𝑎𝑛 𝐾𝑎 𝑃𝑎?”

The month-long campaign, supported by DOH, PDA and partners, emphasizes preventative care, including proper brushing with fluoride toothpaste to support the initiative.

Bulbulala Primary School successfully conducted the 4th Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, where pupils creatively used coconut shells as helmets to protect their heads during the simulation. This innovative approach promoted safety awareness and resourcefulness among learners.

LGU Licuan-Baay Leads Teachers Day Celebration Honoring Educators as Everyday Heroes

Teachers from across the district gathered in one venue to celebrate Teachers Day with the theme “My Teacher, My Hero.” The event recognized the unwavering dedication and silent sacrifices of educators who continuously shape the future of young learners.

This year’s celebration was proudly sponsored by the Local Government Unit of Licuan-Baay, headed by Hon. Mayor Darwin L. Domingo and Vice Mayor Alejo Domingo, together with the Sangguniang Bayan Members. Their support reflects the LGU’s commitment to celebrating teachers not just as professionals, but as community heroes whose efforts go beyond the classroom.

Adding prestige to the occasion was the presence of Dr. Christine Poblete, the outgoing PSDS of LaLaBaLicMa and now PSDS of BuDaBoSa District. Her attendance marked a meaningful connection between districts and reinforced the spirit of unity among educators.

The event offered teachers a well-deserved break. Aside from the formal program, it provided opportunities for teachers to reconnect, share stories, and enjoy moments of camaraderie—rare chances that strengthen bonds across the district.
