The TAWIRAN: Pamanang Kaalaman Para sa Magandang Kinabusakan Book Donation Drive, spearheaded by First Lady Maan Tuazon-Guico and the First Spouses League of Pangasinan in partnership with the Provincial Government of Pangasinan, calls for book donations from the public.

📦Drop-off locations:
📍Pangasinan Polytechnic College
📍Pangasinan Provincial Library
📍Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office
📍CB Mall, Urdaneta City

Donated books will be distributed through rolling libraries in the pediatric wards of 14 provincial hospitals.

The National Youth Commission (NYC) has approved the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐬 (𝐋𝐘𝐃𝐂𝐬). The updated guidelines set a clearer and more consistent framework for how LYDCs are organized and operate across LGUs, ensuring sustained and inclusive youth participation in local governance.

With more defined roles, processes and coordination mechanisms, LYDCs are better positioned to support Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials in delivering youth programs aligned with national priorities, while also strengthening compliance and institutionalization at the local level.

Nagsimula na ang TAWIRAN: Pamanang Kaalaman Para sa Magandang Kinabukasan learning sessions sa Pangapisan North, Lingayen, bilang tugon sa pangangailangan ng mga Out-of-School Youth na muling mabigyan ng pagkakataong matuto.

Sa pangunguna ni First Lady Maan Tuazon-Guico at ng First Spouses League of Pangasinan, katuwang ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan, binibigyang-tuon ng programa ang pagpapalakas ng basic reading at writing skills ng mga kalahok.

Sa bawat aral na kanilang natututunan, kasabay nito ang pag-usbong ng pag-asa na kaya pa nilang abutin ang kanilang mga pangarap.

APRIL 18,2026: 2nd Session of PROJECT TAWIRAN at Sitio Aplaya, Barangay Pangapisan North,Lingayen,Pangasinan.

This is a program of the Provincial Government of Pangasinan led by Governor Ramon V. Guico III and First Lady Maan Guico, in partnership with our Local Government Unit through the Local Youth Development Office and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.

This is an avenue wherein children, especially the out-of-school children to enhance their literacy through reading and writing, which builds the foundation for their future.

The 2nd session was attended by Pangasinan Polytechnic College President Dr. Raymundo Rovillos together with his personnel and students, Pangasinan Provincial Library Staffs, Provincial Social Welfare and Development of Pangasinan, Team CHANGE for Spiritual Aspect for the parents, Mun.Social Welfare and Development Officer Ms.Lorenza Decena, Local Youth Devt.Officer Mr. John Mark Mangapot, Day Care Center Teachers of Aplaya, US Peace Corps Volunteer Elina Rayos-Dern, LYDO OJT Lawrence Dela Cruz, and other visitors.

Pormal nang nagsimula ang unang araw ng PPC Admission Test (PPCAT 2026) sa Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center sa Lingayen, Pangasinan.

Tinatayang aabot sa 2,000 kabataang Pangasinense ang sumabak sa pagsusulit, kung saan 700 ang mapipiling maging iskolar ng PPC. Magpapatuloy ang PPCAT hanggang bukas, Abril 16, 2026.

Ang Pangasinan Polytechnic College (PPC) ay itinatag sa ilalim ng liderato ni Gov. Ramon V. Guico III, na may layuning maghatid ng dekalidad at libreng edukasyon para sa bawat kabataang Pangasinense.
