📍 SAMPALOC, SARIAYA, & ATIMONAN, QUEZON

Noong ika-22 at ika-23 ng Abril 2026, isinagawa ang validation bilang bahagi ng pagsusuri sa mga benepisyaryo para sa FY 2026. Sinuri ang mga sumusunod na samahan: Samahan sa Industriya ng Mag-aalaga ng Baboy ng Sampaloc, Quezon, Samahan ng Maghahalaman at Maghahayupan ng Sampaloc 2, at Samahan ng Maggugulay ng Barangay Lutucan 1 ng Sariaya, Quezon, gayundin ang SIPAG-Atimonan Vegetable Growers Association para sa animal dispersal project na swine.

Sa kabilang banda, sinuri rin ang Atimonan Banana Growers Association para sa animal dispersal project na native chicken, at ang Atimonan Small Coconut Organization Federation para sa animal dispersal project na goat.

Ang grupo na galing sa DA Regional Field Office IV-A ay binubuo nina Ms. Diana Rose Abas at Mr. John Renan Olivo mula sa Livestock Program, at Ms. Joy Tan ng APCO Quezon, na nagsagawa ng validation katuwang ang mga kawani ng Municipal Agriculture Office ng Sampaloc, Sariaya, at Atimonan, Quezon.

Isinasagawa ang ganitong aktibidad bilang bahagi ng patuloy na inisyatibo ng pamahalaan upang masuportahan ang ating mga magsasaka, makapagbigay ng karagdagang kabuhayan, at makatulong sa pagkamit ng isang food-secure na Pilipinas.

📍 SARIAYA & DOLORES, QUEZON

Noong ika-21 ng Abril 2026, isinagawa ang validation bilang bahagi ng pagsusuri sa mga potensyal na benepisyaryo para sa FY 2027. Sinuri ang Tulo-Tulo Hog Raisers Association para sa forage chopper, ang Sariaya Farmers Association para sa hauling truck, at ang Dolores Development Cooperative para sa electronic digital weighing scale.

Ang grupo na galing sa DA Regional Field Office IV-A ay binubuo nina Engr. Aaron Tacerna at Mr. B**g Carreon ng RAED, at Mr. John Renan Olivo ng Livestock Program, katuwang si Ms. Joy Tan ng APCO Quezon, na nagsagawa ng validation kasama ang mga kawani ng Municipal Agriculture Office ng Sariaya at Dolores, Quezon.

Isinasagawa ang ganitong aktibidad bilang bahagi ng patuloy na inisyatibo ng pamahalaan upang masuportahan ang ating mga magsasaka at mapabuti ang pagproseso at pamamahala ng kanilang mga alagang hayop.

📍 MACALELON & INFANTA, QUEZON

Noong ika-15 ng Abril 2026, isinagawa ang validation bilang bahagi ng pagsusuri sa mga benepisyaryo para sa FY 2026. Sinuri ang Olongtao Ibaba Poultry and Livestock Farmers Association ng Macalelon, Quezon para sa animal dispersal project na native chicken. Sinuri rin ang Alitas Farmers and Fisherfolks Association ng Infanta, Quezon para sa animal dispersal project na swine.

Ang grupo na galing sa DA Regional Field Office IV-A ay binubuo nina Ms. Diana Rose Abas at Mr. John Renan Olivo mula sa Livestock Program, at Ms. Joy Tan ng APCO Quezon, na nagsagawa ng validation katuwang ang mga kawani ng Municipal Agriculture Office ng Macalelon at Infanta, Quezon.

Isinasagawa ang ganitong aktibidad bilang bahagi ng patuloy na inisyatibo ng pamahalaan upang masuportahan ang ating mga magsasaka, makapagbigay ng karagdagang kabuhayan, at makatulong sa pagkamit ng isang food-secure na Pilipinas.

📍 SINILOAN, LAGUNA

Noong ika-15 ng Abril 2026, isinagawa ang validation bilang bahagi ng pagsusuri sa mga potensyal na benepisyaryo para sa FY 2027. Sinuri ang Laguio Vegetable and Livestock Farmers Association para sa kanilang hinihiling na Beef Cattle Fattening Project. Kasama sa programang ito ang feed pellet mill at forage chopper.

Ang grupo na galing sa DA Regional Field Office IV-A ay binubuo nina Engr. Ahman Pejana at Engr. Julia Hernandez ng RAED, at Ms. Sarah Mae Antonio ng Livestock Program, na nagsagawa ng validation katuwang ang mga kawani ng Municipal Agriculture Office ng Siniloan, Laguna.

Isinasagawa ang ganitong aktibidad bilang bahagi ng patuloy na inisyatibo ng pamahalaan upang masuportahan ang ating mga magsasaka at mapabuti ang pagproseso ng pagkain para sa kanilang mga alagang hayop.

📍LIPA CITY, BATANGAS
Consultation with LGUs on Livestock Programs/Activities/Projects for FY 2026 📝

On June 2-3, 2026, the Consultation Workshop with the Local Government Units was successfully conducted at the Argosino Hall, LARES Compound, Brgy. Marawoy, Lipa City, Batangas, which was spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office (DA RFO) 4A- Livestock Banner Program and aims to discuss the status, issues and necessary actions relative to Livestock Programs/Activities/Projects for FY 2026.

The two-day workshop was divided into two batches- Day 1 (June 2) Provinces of Cavite, Laguna and Rizal and Day 2 (June 3) Provinces of Batangas and Quezon. It was attended by a total of 194 selected representatives and staff from the DA National Livestock Program, DA RFO 4A, Provincial Veterinarians, Municipal Agriculturists and representatives of the Local Government Units from all cities and municipalities in CALABARZON. The topics discussed were the following:

1. Presentation of the DA RFO 4A Livestock Banner Program Programs/Activities/ Projects (PAPs) for FY 2026
2. Midyear targets and accomplishment report of each PAPs
3. EO 116 s. 2026 (Increasing the Minimum Access Volume (MAV) for Pork Meat under RA No. 8178 or the Agricultural Tarrification Act, as Amended)
4. Discussion on the Guidelines on Swine Repopulation Project (SRP);
5. Updates on the Status of Avian Influenza (AI) and African Swine Fever (ASF) in CALABARZON;
6. Updates on FY 2027 Proposal under Republic Act No. 12308 ,s. 2025 or as known as Animal Industry Development and Competitiveness Act (AIDCA) ;
7. Tabletop discussion and preparation of Action Plan with LGUs, as partners in the implementation of Livestock PAPs.

The event highlighted the clarification on the Guidelines of SRP, especially the requirements of the interested applicants, source of gilts and zoning, issues raised on the discussion of the EO No.116 s. 2026 and status updates on ASF and AI in CALABARZON.

The Regional Executive Director of DA RFO 4A, Engr. Redelliza A. Gruezo emphasized that coordination with LGUs on the programs, activities, and projects of the Livestock Program is crucial to the successful implementation of these initiatives, considering that most of the documentary requirements to be complied with by applicants are issued by the LGUs. She further stated that the event serves as a platform for strengthening collaboration and fostering stronger relationships between government agencies and LGUs.

Supporting the RED's statement, the Regional Livestock Banner Program Coordinator, Dr. Wilmer S. Faylon, assured the LGUs that all issues raised and agreements made during the discussion will be consolidated and subsequently endorsed to the concerned higher authorities for appropriate action.
