In response to the limited number of entries received, the registration for the Advocacy Video Making Contest is hereby extended until July 31, 2026 (Friday).

As of today, we have received two (2) team entries. To encourage greater participation from our students, we are giving interested participants additional time to register and showcase their creativity in promoting awareness against gender-based violence.

We encourage all Junior High School and Senior High School students in the Municipality of Loreto to take part in this meaningful advocacy initiative. Let your voice inspire change through the power of storytelling and creative media.

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Loreto, in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), proudly presents the Official Results of the 2025 Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) and Violence Against Women (VAW) Desk Functionality Assessment.

The assessment recognizes the commitment and collective efforts of every barangay in strengthening child protection systems and ensuring accessible, gender-responsive, and responsive services for women and children.

To promote transparency while maintaining the integrity of the assessment process, the official results are presented through the Functionality Levels attained by each barangay.

Malampusong nahuman sa Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) sa Loreto ang BCPC ug VAW Desk Functionality Assessment, pinaagi sa Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) ug Local Committee Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Their Children (LCAT-VAWC) kauban sa pakigtambayayong sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), ang usa ka semana nga Barangay On-Site Functionality Assessment with 2025 Data Validation, nga gipahigayon niadtong Hulyo 20โ€“24, 2026.

Gisulod sa assessment ang tanang napulo (10) ka barangay sa Munisipyo sa Loreto, nga mao ang Santiago, Ferdinand, Carmen, Santa Cruz, Magsaysay, Helene, Liberty, San Juan, Panamaon ug Esperanza.

Tumong sa maong kalihokan ang pagsusi sa kahimtang ug kaepektibo sa paglihok sa BCPC ug VAW Desk, pag-validate sa ilang mga report ug Means of Verification (MOVs), pag-ila sa mga kalig-on ug mga bahin nga kinahanglan pang mapalambo, ingon man ang paghatag og teknikal nga giya aron mas mapalig-on ang mga mekanismo sa barangay sa pagpanalipod sa mga kabataan, kababayen-an, ug sa ilang mga pamilya.

Ang kalampusan sa maong kalihokan nahimong posible pinaagi sa aktibong kooperasyon ug partisipasyon sa DILG, mga Punong Barangay, mga miyembro sa BCPC ug Barangay VAW Desk Officers, mga Barangay Secretaries ug Treasurers, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), ug uban pang mga barangay stakeholders nga nagpakita sa ilang dedikasyon sa pagpalig-on sa mga programa alang sa proteksyon sa kabataan ug pagpanalipod sa katungod sa mga kababaehan sa atong komunidad.

Ang MSWDO Loreto mapasalamaton sa tanang barangay ug partner agencies sa ilang walay hunong nga suporta ug kooperasyon. Magpadayon kita sa pagtinabangay aron mapalig-on ang atong mga komunidad isip usa ka child-friendly, gender-responsive, ug mahimong luwas gikan sa tanang matang sa pag-pangabuso.
