UrPGC Congress 2020

Set on March 10-14, 2020 in Metro Manila, the UrPGC Congress specifically aims to: (1) share knowledge to promote research into the social, cultural, health, environmental, and economic values of parks and green cities; (2) exchange information and experiences on developing sustainable urban parks and green cities; (3) develop concerted action plans to address and resolve issues and challenges faced by urban parks and green spaces towards achieving goals of national and international plans/agreements; (4) review existing ASEAN country policies for sustainable urban parks and green cities with regard to its environmental protection and considerations; (5) enhance partnership and joint research and development endeavors among ASEAN and dialogue and development partners; and (6) institutionalize schemes to effectively link R&D on sustainable urban parks and green cities in the management and development, particularly in providing policy and action advice to governments and high level decision makers across Southeast Asia.
