SERBISYONG MABILIS NG PNP, NAGRESULTA SA PAGKAKAARESTO AT PAGKAREKOBER NG ARMAS

Ipinakita ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang mabilis at epektibong pagtugon matapos ang insidente ng pagpapaputok ng baril sa isang komunidad, kung saan agad na rumesponde ang mga tauhan at nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto ng mga suspek at pagkakarekober ng baril sa Iloilo City.

Ayon sa ulat, isang commotion ang naitala sa lugar na nauwi sa pagpapaputok ng baril na nagdulot ng pangamba sa mga residente. Agad namang tumugon ang Iloilo City Police Station 6 upang tiyakin ang kaligtasan ng publiko at maiwasan ang posibleng paglala ng sitwasyon.

Sa isinagawang mabilis na operasyon, narekober ng mga rumespondeng pulis ang isang 9mm pistol na may laman pang bala at isang fired cartridge case. Kasunod nito, sa tuloy-tuloy na imbestigasyon at follow-up operation, nahuli ang mga suspek na ngayon ay nahaharap sa kaukulang kaso.

Ayon kay PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., ang ganitong mabilis na pagtugon ay patunay ng patuloy na pag-igting ng kapulisan sa pagbibigay ng proteksyon sa komunidad.

“Hindi natin palalampasin ang anumang banta sa seguridad ng ating mga komunidad. Ang agarang aksyon ng ating mga pulis ay bahagi ng ating pananagutan—siguraduhing ligtas ang bawat mamamayan at agad na papanagutin ang mga lalabag sa batas,” ani Nartatez.

Dagdag pa niya, mahalaga ang aktibong presensya ng pulisya sa mga komunidad upang mapigilan ang paglala ng mga insidente at mapanatili ang kapayapaan, lalo na sa mga oras ng gabi.

Ang matagumpay na operasyon ay patunay ng patuloy na pagtupad ng PNP sa tungkulin nitong maglingkod at magprotekta, alinsunod sa adhikain ng Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.

PNP STATEMENT ON THE INCIDENT DURING THE PRESS BRIEFING

The Philippine National Police (PNP) upholds the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and respect in all official engagements, particularly in press briefings and interactions with oversight bodies and the media.

During the press briefing held this afternoon, June 3, 2026, a police officer was invited to clarify his involvement in a vehicular traffic incident that occurred on June 2, 2026 along MLQ Avenue corner Mauling Creek, Brgy. Bagumbayan, Taguig City. The incident involved two vehicles and had earlier been resolved through an amicable settlement between the parties concerned.

While responding to questions during the briefing, the officer made an inappropriate remark directed at a senior official, which was made in the presence of members of the media and disrupted the orderly conduct of the proceedings. The officer was subsequently directed to step out of the press briefing area in order to maintain proper decorum.

The PNP does not condone any form of disrespectful conduct or language that undermines discipline, professionalism, and the integrity of official public forums. The concerned personnel will be subjected to appropriate administrative review in accordance with existing rules and due process.

The PNP assures the public that the matter will be addressed with fairness, accountability, and transparency, consistent with its commitment to a disciplined and professional police service.

𝙉𝘼𝙆𝘼𝙍, 𝙇𝙐𝘾𝙀𝙉𝘼 𝘾𝙄𝙏𝙔 – Patuloy na nagbubunga ng positibong resulta ang pinaigting na kampanya ng Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) laban sa ilegal na droga matapos makumpiska ang tinatayang 4.16 milyong halaga ng hinihinalang shabu at maaresto ang tatlong drug personalities sa magkahiwalay na buy-bust operations na isinagawa sa Lucena City at Lucban, Quezon noong Hunyo 2 at 3, 2026.

Sa unang operasyon na isinagawa ng mga operatiba ng Lucban Municipal Police Station (MPS) bandang alas-9:57 ng umaga noong Hunyo 2, 2026 sa Diversion Road, Sitio Aligwayan, Barangay Ayuti, Lucban, Quezon, naaresto ang suspek na si alyas “Jiyo,” 27 taong gulang, isang High Value Individual (HVI) at residente ng nasabing bayan.

Narekober mula sa kanya ang tatlong sachet ng hinihinalang shabu na may kabuuang tinatayang bigat na 54 gramo, isang digital weighing scale, plastic sachets, at iba pang drug paraphernalia. Ang nakumpiskang ilegal na droga ay may tinatayang PDEA Standard Drug Price na P367,200.00 at street value na P1,101,600.00.

Samantala, bandang alas-2:27 ng madaling-araw noong Hunyo 3, 2026, nagsagawa naman ng buy-bust operation ang mga tauhan ng Lucena Component City Police Station (CCPS) Intelligence Unit at Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) sa Purok Masagana, Barangay Ibabang Iyam, Lucena City, katuwang ang Quezon Maritime Police Station at Regional Intelligence Unit 4A PIT North Quezon.

Nagresulta ang operasyon sa pagkakaaresto kina alyas “Archie,” 29 taong gulang, isang High Value Individual (HVI), at alyas “Ron,” 43 taong gulang, isang Street Level Individual (SLI), kapwa residente ng Lucena City.

Nakumpiska mula sa mga suspek ang limang pakete ng hinihinalang shabu na may kabuuang tinatayang bigat na 150 gramo, kasama ang buy-bust money na ginamit sa operasyon. Ang mga nakuhang ilegal na droga ay may PDEA Standard Drug Price na P1,020,000.00 at tinatayang street value na P3,060,000.00.

Sa kabuuan, umabot sa humigit-kumulang 204 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng mahigit P4.16 milyon ang nasamsam sa dalawang magkahiwalay na operasyon.

Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng mga arresting units ang mga suspek habang inihahanda ang pagsasampa ng kaukulang kaso para sa paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11, Article II ng Republic Act No. 9165 o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Ayon kay 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗨𝗟𝗢 𝗔 𝗔𝗟𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗔, Provincial Director ng Quezon PPO, ang sunod-sunod na matagumpay na operasyon ay patunay ng determinasyon ng kapulisan na panatilihing ligtas ang mga komunidad laban sa banta ng ilegal na droga.

"Hindi tayo titigil sa pagsasagawa ng legal na operasyon laban sa mga indibidwal na sangkot sa ilegal na droga. Ang pagkakasamsam ng mahigit apat na milyong pisong halaga ng shabu at pagkakaaresto ng tatlong drug personalities ay malinaw na mensahe na walang puwang ang ilegal na droga sa lalawigan ng Quezon," pahayag ni PCOL ALBACEA.

Patuloy namang hinihikayat ng Quezon PPO ang publiko na maging katuwang ng kapulisan sa paglaban sa ilegal na droga sa pamamagitan ng maagap na pagbibigay ng impormasyon laban sa mga sangkot sa ipinagbabawal na gawain. # # #

𝘾𝘼𝙈𝙋 𝘽𝙂𝙀𝙉 𝙂𝙐𝙄𝙇𝙇𝙀𝙍𝙈𝙊 𝙋 𝙉𝘼𝙆𝘼𝙍, 𝙇𝙪𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙖 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 – In a continuing effort to strengthen crime prevention initiatives and enhance public safety, the Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO), in coordination with the Regional Civil Security Unit CALABARZON (RCSU 4A), successfully conducted the “Together Against Theft: A Security and Police Collaboration Forum” on June 3, 2026, at the Quezon Capitol Building, Lucena City.

The forum brought together 117 security officers and representatives from various security agencies, commercial establishments, and business sectors across the province, serving as a vital platform for collaboration and information-sharing in addressing theft, shoplifting, and other property-related offenses.

The activity was graced by 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗠𝗔𝗫𝗜𝗠𝗢 𝗙 𝗦𝗘𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗡, 𝗝𝗥, Acting Chief of Regional Staff, PRO 4A as a keynote speaker. He emphasized the indispensable role of the private security sector as force multipliers and highlighted the importance of sustained police-security collaboration in preventing crimes and maintaining peace and order within communities.

Whereas, 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗨𝗟𝗢 𝗔 𝗔𝗟𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗔, Provincial Director of Quezon PPO underscored the significance of fostering stronger partnerships between law enforcement and security practitioners to create a safer and more secure environment for businesses and the public.

Throughout the forum, participants engaged in meaningful discussions on emerging security challenges, current crime trends, and best practices in crime prevention and response. The activity likewise promoted the exchange of valuable insights and strengthened coordination mechanisms among stakeholders tasked with safeguarding lives and properties.

The forum reinforced the shared commitment of the Philippine National Police and the private security industry to proactive security measures, effective information sharing, and collective action against criminal activities. It further highlighted the critical role of collaboration in enhancing community safety and protecting public spaces and commercial establishments.

QPPO also expresses its appreciation to all partner agencies, stakeholders, participants and the Provincial Government of Quezon whose active involvement contributed to the success of the activity.

Kaugnay ng insidenteng kinasasangkutan ng isang pulis na kumakalat sa social media, muling binibigyang-diin ng Police Regional Office 4A, sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Regional Director PBGEN Hansel M Marantan, na ang bawat miyembro ng kapulisan sa rehiyon ay inaasahang magpakita ng pinakamataas na antas ng propesyonalismo, disiplina, at paggalang sa lahat ng pagkakataon.

Bilang mga tagapagpatupad ng batas, tungkulin nating maging huwaran ng wastong pag-uugali at pangalagaan ang tiwalang ipinagkakaloob sa atin ng publiko.
