THE TIME FOR DELAY IS OVER: PROCEED WITH THE IMPEACHMENT NOW!

Kaya Natin! Youth, as advocates of good governance and ethical leadership, urgently calls on the Senate of the Philippines to proceed without delay with the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte.

The Constitution is clear: the Senate must “forthwith proceed” with the impeachment trial. This means acting without unnecessary delay.

The Senate’s continued inaction, along with proposals to prematurely dismiss the case, undermines the public’s right to accountability and weakens the checks and balances that safeguard our democracy.

We call on the Senate to fulfill its constitutional mandate with integrity and urgency. Begin the trial—fair, impartial, and forthwith.

The time for delay is over.
