Mabitac MDRRMO Personnel participated in Clean-Up Drive at Marilag Eco-Park, Sta. Maria, Laguna hosted by Sta. Maria MDRRMO.

The activity gathered personnel from the Sta. Maria MDRRMO together with representatives from the Mabitac MDRRMO, Siniloan MDRRMO, Pakil MDRRMO, and the Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO). Participants worked collectively in cleaning the eco-park by collecting and properly segregating waste materials, clearing littered areas, and promoting environmental cleanliness.

The activity also served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination, camaraderie, and teamwork among the participating DRRM offices while reinforcing the importance of environmental conservation as an integral component of disaster risk reduction and climate resilience.

🚑 Building Safer and More Resilient Communities Through First Aid Training! 💙

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Mabitac successfully conducted the Standard First Aid Training for School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Coordinators and Local Government Unit (LGU) Mabitac Department Representatives.

This training equipped participants with essential life-saving knowledge and practical first aid skills, strengthening their capacity to respond effectively during emergencies and disasters. Through continuous capability-building initiatives, Mabitac remains committed to promoting disaster preparedness and ensuring the safety and well-being of every community member.

This meaningful activity was made possible through the sponsorship of the Mabitac MDRRMO, with the full support of Hon. Alberto S. Reyes, Municipal Mayor, the Sangguniang Bayan headed by Vice Mayor Ronald I. Sana, and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) Members.

Together, we continue to build a prepared, resilient, and disaster-ready Municipality of Mabitac.

Mabitac MDRRMO Joins Sportfest 2026 in Celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Mabitac proudly participated in Sportfest 2026, organized by the Laguna Association of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officers (LADRRMO), in collaboration with the Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), as part of the celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2026.

The event brought together Disaster Risk Reduction and Management personnel from across the Province of Laguna, fostering camaraderie, teamwork, sportsmanship, and solidarity among emergency responders and disaster management practitioners. Through various sports competitions and recreational activities, participants strengthened not only their physical fitness but also the strong partnerships essential for effective disaster preparedness, response, and resilience.

Mabitac MDRRMO extends its sincere appreciation to the organizers for providing an avenue to promote unity, wellness, and collaboration among DRRM professionals. We remain committed to enhancing our capabilities and working hand in hand with our fellow responders in building safer, more resilient communities.

Ang MDRRMO Mabitac ay nakiisa sa ginanap na Rescuelympics 2026, isang aktibidad na naglalayong higit pang paunlarin ang kakayahan, koordinasyon, at kahandaan ng mga rescue responders sa pamamagitan ng iba't ibang hamon at pagsubok.

Sa pamamagitan ng pakikilahok sa gawaing ito, patuloy nating pinagtitibay ang ating kaalaman, kasanayan, at dedikasyon sa pagbibigay ng mabilis, ligtas, at epektibong pagtugon sa oras ng sakuna at emerhensiya.

Patuloy tayong magsasanay, maghahanda, at maglilingkod para sa isang mas ligtas at mas matatag na Bayan ng Mabitac.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng National Disaster Resilience Month at Nutrition Month, patuloy na isinusulong ng MDRRMO Mabitac ang kahalagahan ng kahandaan sa sakuna, at suporta upang isulong ang wastong nutrisyon, at pagkakaisa ng komunidad. Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagkilos, mas napapalakas natin ang kakayahan ng bawat mamamayan na maging handa, ligtas, at matatag sa anumang hamon.

Lubos na nagpapasalamat ang MDRRMO Mabitac sa Liga ng mga Barangay, sa suporta ni Capt. Leslie Retoriano, at sa pangunguna ni Mr. Manny M. Artitchea, (MDRRMO Mabitac) gayundin sa lahat ng mga katuwang na ahensya, barangay officials, volunteers, at mga mamamayang nakiisa at sumuporta sa ating programa.

Maraming salamat sa inyong patuloy na suporta at pakikiisa. Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang isang mas ligtas, mas malusog, at mas matatag na Bayan ng Mabitac.

Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapalakas ng kahandaan ng komunidad sa panahon ng sakuna at emerhensiya, naimbitahan ang MDRRMO Mabitac ng Barangay Nanguma at Barangay Matalatala upang magbigay ng kaalaman at oryentasyon patungkol sa Basic First Aid.

Sa pamamagitan ng aktibidad na ito, nabigyan ang mga kalahok ng mahahalagang kaalaman at kasanayan sa tamang pagbibigay ng paunang lunas upang makatulong sa pagligtas ng buhay.

Maraming salamat sa Barangay Nanguma at Barangay Matalatala sa kanilang pakikiisa at suporta sa pagpapalakas ng kahandaan at kaligtasan ng ating komunidad.
