The 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝑰𝒏𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 conducted a Committee Hearing to discuss the request for approval of the Program of Works (POW) for the following projects:

📌 Improvement of the Municipal Plaza (Phase 3)
📌 Rehabilitation of Comfort Rooms at the Molopolo–Sta. Cruz Bird and Fish Sanctuary
📌 Construction of Flood Control in Barangay San Joaquin.

Also present in the said hearing was Engr. Sarah Dampog, Municipal Engineer, to provide technical inputs and clarifications.

Committee hearing on finance was also conducted to discuss FY 2026 Annual Budgets of Barangays Ichon, Guadalupe, San Isidro, and the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Guadalupe.

The Sangguniang Bayan discussed and approved several measures for community development and public service.

The 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝘽𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝙆𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣 𝙈𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙡𝙤𝙨-𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙯𝙤 sponsored the following legislative measures

1. Resolution approving the program of works for the Construction of fencing of Slaughterhouse, Old Public Market, Birthing Facility, and ECCD Building Perimeter Fence located in Barangay San Vicente Poblacion and Mohon, as well as the Improvement of the Senior Citizens Day Center and PWD Facilities (Phase 6) in Barangay San Vicente Poblacion.

2. A resolution granting Fifty Thousand Pesos (₱50,000.00) to Villa Jacinta National Vocational High School for the Electrical Installation and Maintenance training of EIM learners. Another resolution appropriated Forty Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Pesos (₱48,900.00) from the five percent LDRRMC calamity fund for all municipal disaster volunteers of Macrohon.

3. Resolutions declaring operative the FY 2026 Annual Budgets of Barangays Cambaro, Salvador, Sto. Niño, Danao, Lower Villa Jacinta, Molopolo, Sta. Cruz, San Vicente Upper, Upper Ichon, and Ilihan.

A testament that the Sangguniang Bayan is committed to continuous progress and service for the people of Macrohon.

The Committee on Appropriations, Budget, and Finance of the Municipality of Macrohon conducted a committee hearing on the FY 2026 Annual Budgets of Barangays Cambaro, Salvador, Sto. Niño, Danao, Lower Villa Jacinta, Molopolo, Sta. Cruz, San Vicente Upper, Upper Ichon, and Ilihan. The hearing was attended by the respective Barangay Captains, Barangay Treasurers, and Sangguniang Barangay Member Representatives, ensuring thorough review and proper allocation of public funds.

Also, In coordination with the Committee on Education of the Municipality of Macrohon, the proposed ordinance establishing the Educational Financial Assistance Program (EFAP) was also deliberated. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to qualified indigent students and further strengthen the municipality’s commitment to accessible and quality education.
