From July 28 to 30, 2026, the MDRRMO Magarao, led by Mayor Atty. Ma Maruja Señar, participated in the CamSur Resilience Festival 2026, an event showcasing disaster preparedness and community resilience, held in Camarines Sur. The festival featured the 72 Hours Survival Challenge, a pivotal activity organized by the provincial government of Camarines Sur, under the leadership of Gov. L-ray Villafuerte, aimed at testing and strengthening emergency response capabilities.

The 3rd District, along with the MDRRMOs of the municipalities of Camaligan, Canaman, Bombon, Calabanga, and MDRRMO disaster volunteers collaborated to engage in the event, emphasizing unity and collective effort in disaster risk reduction and management within the province.

From July 17 to July 26, 2026, the Incident Management Team (IMT), led by Mayor Atty. Ma Maruja Señar, was mobilized to oversee the safety and security of residents and visitors during the annual Magarao Town Fiesta. This vibrant cultural celebration, attracts participants and spectators from surrounding areas, necessitating safety measures.
