Datu Mantato National High School successfully conducted its 1st School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) for 2026 on August 15, 2026, at the DMNHS Covered Court, focusing on relevant and timely topics aimed at strengthening teachers’ knowledge, practices, and readiness for the changing landscape of education.

Anchored on the theme “Smart Teaching, Safe Spaces: Innovating Instruction, Assessment, and Inclusion for Modern Learners,” the learning session featured discussions on key updates and emerging concerns in the education sector.

The topics and resource speakers included Dr. Johara A. Belon, Curriculum Coordinator, who discussed DepEd ILAW; Jumaide A. Zacaria, MAELT, Curriculum Coordinator, who tackled the New DepEd Grading System; Kirby D. Fajaguna, MSciEd, Curriculum Coordinator, who discussed the Philippines’ Anti-Bullying Act; and Hero D. Salik, LPT, Planning/Disbursing Coordinator, who shared insights on AI in Education.

The activity provided an avenue for teachers to deepen their understanding of current DepEd initiatives, policies, learner protection, assessment practices, and the responsible integration of artificial intelligence in education.

Through collaborative learning and meaningful professional discussions, DMNHS continues to strengthen its commitment to smart teaching, safe learning spaces, and quality education for every learner.

Datu Mantato National High School (DMNHS) successfully conducted its Instructional Supervision and School Monitoring activity on August 12, 2026, with a focus on the implementation of the Three-Term Calendar of Activities, ARAL Program, and Reading Program.

Nakikiisa ang Datu Mantato National High School sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa ngayong Agosto 2026 na may temang:
“Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

Sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya, ating pahalagahan ang Wikang Filipino bilang mahalagang bahagi ng ating pagkakakilanlan, kultura, at pagkatuto, habang ginagamit ang makabagong teknolohiya at Artificial Intelligence nang responsable at makabuluhan.

Datu Mantato National High School successfully conducted the first seminar activity of the Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) Club through the BALIG School-Based Program, facilitated by AMYL Inc. The activity equipped learners with essential knowledge on adolescent reproductive health, promoting informed decision-making and overall well-being.

The seminar was participated in by members of the ARH Club under the guidance of Club Adviser Guiamila A. Tredez, highlighting the school’s continued commitment to promoting the holistic development of its learners through meaningful partnerships and student-centered programs.

On July 30, 2026, Datu Mantato National High School successfully conducted the turnover of its newly constructed Faculty Room for Grade 7 and Grade 8 teachers. The new facilities aim to provide a more comfortable and conducive working environment, supporting teachers in delivering quality education and strengthening collaboration within the school.

The turnover marks another milestone in the school’s continuous efforts to improve its learning environment and enhance the welfare of its teaching personnel.

Datu Mantato National High School proudly participated in the 2026 Provincial Math and Science Olympiad held on July 29, 2026, at Sheikh Doli Ahmad Institute of Technology.

Representing the school were Prencess Aya B. Sultan and Eyzael S. Lysla, accompanied by their coaches Arbaiya U. Ansid, Bai Aleiha G. Amba, and Esnaira M. Mohamad.

While the team did not advance to the Regional Math and Science Olympiad, their dedication, courage, and sportsmanship continue to inspire the entire DMNHS community.

The DMNHS Tuladan Photography Club successfully conducted its first-ever Basic Photography Seminar & Workshop on July 25, 2026, at Datu Mantato National High School. The activity equipped club members with fundamental photography skills and inspired them to see photography as a powerful medium for storytelling.

The seminar was facilitated by Hairudin "Hero" D. Salik, LPT, Club Adviser, who shared valuable insights on camera basics, composition, the exposure triangle, different types of lenses, and the art of visual storytelling. Members also participated in interactive activities, including a photography challenge and photo critique session, where they applied what they had learned.

The event concluded with the recognition of outstanding entries and a renewed commitment among members to continue developing their photography skills under the club's guiding principle, "One Shot, One Story."
