Matagumpay na isinagawa ng Gender and Development (GAD) Office, LGU Matanog ang BUNTIS CONGRESS 2026 sa pakikipagtulungan ng Rural Health Unit (RHU) Matanog sa pangunguna ni Dr. Sittie Ashyah Z. Mangurun, at ng Municipal Health and Nutrition Office sa pamumuno ni Ms. Hanalyn T. Maguindra.

Ang programang ito ay naisakatuparan sa buong suporta nina Hon. Mayor Zohria Saglayan Bansil-Guro at Hon. Vice Mayor Sanaira Ibay Ali-Imam, bilang patunay ng kanilang patuloy na pagsusulong ng kalusugan, kapakanan, at kapangyarihan ng mga kababaihan at kanilang mga pamilya.

โœ… Distribution of Newborn Kits sa mga buntis na ina bilang suporta sa kanilang paghahanda para sa ligtas na panganganak at maayos na pangangalaga sa kanilang magiging sanggol.

Sa pamamagitan ng BUNTIS CONGRESS 2026, nabigyan ng mahalagang impormasyon at serbisyong pangkalusugan ang mga buntis sa komunidad, na naglalayong mapabuti ang maternal at child health sa Municipality of Matanog.

The Municipal Gender and Development (GAD) Office, in partnership with the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), successfully conducted the Gender-Responsive Livelihood Training on Abaca Scrunch Bag Making at the Women's Development and Training Center for 30 women participants from Barangay Sapad as part of the World Food Programme (WFP)-SECURE Program.

With the full support of Hon. Zohria Saglayan Bansil, Municipal Mayor, the training equipped participants with practical skills in abaca scrunch bag making, enhancing their capacity to develop sustainable livelihood opportunities and improve their household income. This initiative reflects the Municipality's commitment to women's economic empowerment, food security, and resilient communities.

Together, we continue to empower women by creating opportunities that foster self-reliance, productivity, and inclusive development.
