There have been circulating claims that the 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) have been postponed.

✅ As of today, there is NO official announcement that the BSKE has been postponed. The elections remain scheduled on November 2, 2026.

While some lawmakers have filed proposals to move the elections, no law has been enacted to postpone them. Until an official law is passed and announced by the proper authorities, the election schedule remains unchanged.

🗳️ We encourage everyone to rely only on official announcements from the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and other authorized government agencies.

"Building Stronger Families Through Responsible Parenting, Healthy Living, and a Shared Commitment to Crime Prevention."
This activity aimed to empower parents and families with knowledge and practical guidance on responsible parenting, promoting healthy lifestyles, strengthening family relationships, and fostering a safer, more peaceful community through collective responsibility.

Today, June 26, 2026, Barangay Kabuhi successfully joined the celebration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) held at the Barangay Covered Court, Kabuhi, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur.
With the theme of promoting a drug-free, healthy, and resilient community, the activity brought together barangay officials, youth, community members, and stakeholders in showing solidarity against illegal drugs. Through this meaningful celebration, we reaffirm our commitment to raising awareness, strengthening community participation, and encouraging everyone to become partners in building a safer and brighter future for all.
Let us continue to stand united in the fight against illegal drugs and work hand in hand in creating a peaceful, progressive, and drug-free Barangay Kabuhi.

📢 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 Successfully Conducted
Barangay Kabuhi, in partnership with Kabuhi Elementary School (KES), successfully conducted the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 as part of the government's continuing effort to strengthen disaster preparedness and promote a culture of safety and resilience within the community.
The activity highlighted the importance of earthquake awareness and preparedness through the proper implementation of the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure and orderly evacuation protocols. This initiative aims to equip residents, teachers, learners, and stakeholders with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively during emergencies.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the officials and personnel of Barangay Kabuhi, the faculty, staff, pupils, and administration of Kabuhi Elementary School, as well as all volunteers and community members who actively participated and contributed to the successful conduct of this important activity.

Ang pag-post o pagpakalat sa private messages, screenshots sa Messenger conversations, ug personal nga impormasyon sa social media nga walay pagtugot sa usa ka tawo mahimong makalapas sa iyang katungod sa privacy ug mahimong magresulta sa legal nga pananagutan.

Ato’ng gamiton ang social media sa responsableng paagi. Likayi ang pagpakaulaw, pagpangdaot, ug pagpakalat sa pribadong impormasyon sa uban.

Ano ang dapat mong tingnan sa kandidato:

1. May konkretong track record (kahit maliit)
Hindi kailangang perpekto o sikat—pero may maipapakitang nagawa, kahit sa simpleng proyekto o serbisyo sa komunidad.

2. May malinaw na plano (may “paano”)
Hindi sapat ang “aayusin ko ‘yan.” Dapat kaya nilang ipaliwanag paano, kailan, at saan kukuha ng pondo.

3. Marunong makinig at makipag-usap
Hindi lang magaling magsalita—marunong ding tumanggap ng puna at makipag-dialogo.

4. May integridad kahit walang camera
Mahahalata ‘yan sa consistency ng kilos—hindi lang tuwing eleksyon.

5. Accessible at present sa komunidad
Hindi lang visible kapag may kampanya—kundi kahit wala.

6. May tamang asal sa kapangyarihan
Respeto sa tao, hindi mapangmataas—kahit sa maliliit na interaksyon.

Reality check lang:
May mga punto sa list mo na subjective (hal. personal na buhay ng kandidato). Mahalaga ang character, oo—but dapat mag-ingat sa tsismis o hindi beripikadong impormasyon. Mas mabigat pa rin ang public behavior at actual performance kaysa sa haka-haka.

Hindi lang ito tungkol sa pag-iwas sa maling kandidato—

👉 kundi sa pagpili ng tamang lider na may kakayahan, plano, at malasakit.
