Safety is everyone's responsibility.

The Municipal Tourism, Culture and the Arts Office (MTCAO), headed by Sir Jelford M. Sumaya, successfully conducted the Swimming Pool Owners and Caretakers Basic Life Support and Standard First Aid Training in partnership with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), headed by Engr. Sherwin Nasser Chio.

The training brought together representatives from various swimming resorts and establishments across Makilala, equipping them with essential life-saving skills and emergency response knowledge to help ensure the safety and well-being of every guest and visitor.

Through this collaborative initiative, the Municipality of Makilala continues to strengthen its commitment to promoting safe, prepared, and responsible tourism.

Already known as the reigning Ginoong Makilala 2025, Heiron has once again brought immense pride and honor to our municipality by showcasing excellence, confidence, intelligence, and genuine Filipino values on the national stage.
