Established through 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟴𝟯𝟳, 𝘀. 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟭, this month-long celebration highlights the vital role of libraries and information centers in empowering communities through knowledge, culture, and connection.

This year’s theme, 🪡 “𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘-𝗨𝗣: 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 – 𝗔 𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽,” invites everyone to tie together stories, people, and ideas — just like how libraries connect us to our heritage and to one another. 💫

𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 | 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆

In light of the emerging flu-like virus symptoms currently affecting parts of the National Capital Region, PCU Manila will suspend office operations from October 16 to 18, 2025 (Thursday to Saturday).

During this period, the General Services Office (GSO), Health Services, and the Occupational Safety Office will conduct and monitor the thorough disinfection of all Manila Campus offices, classrooms, facilities, and other areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone.

Regular operations will resume on Monday, October 20, 2025.

#𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗞 | 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 (𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 & 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆)

Upon the recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MCDRRMO), the City of Manila has ordered the suspension of classes in all levels, public and private, due to the expected impact of Severe Tropical Storm Opong.

In compliance with this directive, PCU Manila will suspend all face-to-face classes and office operations on September 26–27, 2025.

- 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲 (𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀).

- A skeletal force from the following offices will remain on duty to ensure essential services: 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐫’𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐆𝐒𝐎, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐂.
