Ang Person with Disability Malay Federation katuwang ang Municipal Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) ay magsasagawa ng Barangay Meetings para sa lahat ng Persons with Disability (PWD) sa Bayan ng Malay.

Layunin ng gawaing ito na maipabatid ang mahahalagang programa, serbisyo, at aktibidad para sa sektor ng PWD, at higit pang mapalakas ang ugnayan at partisipasyon sa bawat barangay.

🏆 Search for Three (3) Outstanding Women with Disabilities 🏆

In celebration of the 22nd Women with Disability Day, the Municipal Persons with Disability Affairs Office (MPDAO) of Malay proudly launches the Search for Outstanding Women with Disabilities Recognition Award.

This recognition aims to honor inspiring women with disabilities who have demonstrated exceptional achievements, leadership, resilience, and meaningful contributions to the community.

✨ We are looking for nominees who:
✔️ Are women with disabilities residing in the Municipality of Malay
✔️ Have made significant contributions in community service, livelihood, leadership, education, sports, arts, advocacy, or other fields
✔️ Serve as positive role models and inspire others through their determination and accomplishments

📌 Award Categories:
🏅 Three (3) Outstanding Women with Disabilities will be selected and recognized.

: Preferably 18 and above

📅 Deadline for Submission of Nominations: Friday March 26, 2026
📍 Awarding Ceremony: March 30, 2026 | Malay Conference Hall

📢 1st Quarter Meeting of Person with Disability Malay Federation
🗓️ March 7, 2026
📍 Senior Building Conference hall Poblacion

The PWD Malay Federation successfully conducted its 1st Quarter Meeting, led by Ms. Sherry N. Tumaob, PWD Federation President, together with the support of the PDAO Office lead by Mr. Jeecee V. Maming.

The meeting served as an important platform to discuss updates, accomplishments, and plans that will continue to strengthen programs and services for the Persons with Disabilities (PWD) community in the Municipality of Malay.

Agenda Discussed:
✅ Accomplishment Report 2025– Presentation and review of the federation’s accomplishments and activities for the year.
✅ Update on Allocated Budget for the 17 Barangays– Updates and discussion regarding the budget distribution for PWD-related programs in all barangays.
✅ New Guidelines on AICS– Orientation and updates regarding the latest guidelines for the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS).
✅ PWD Subsidy Update** – Status and updates regarding the subsidy support for PWD beneficiaries.
✅ Non-Renewal of PWD ID and Proposal– Discussion on concerns regarding the renewal process of PWD IDs and proposed solutions.
✅ Suggestions, Plans, and Other Matters– Open forum for suggestions, future plans, and other important concerns raised by members.

The meeting highlights the continuous commitment of the PWD Malay Federation and the PDAO Office to work together in promoting inclusive programs, addressing the needs of PWDs, and strengthening collaboration among the 17 barangays of Malay.

The 1st Quarter Meeting of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) was successfully conducted on February 24 at Boracay Tropics Resort Hotel.

The meeting focused on important updates, plans, and strategies to further strengthen disaster preparedness, risk reduction, and emergency response efforts within the Municipality of Malay. Various stakeholders and partner organizations were invited to participate, including the PWD Malay Federation.

We are proud to acknowledge the presence of Ms. Celina Tejada, Federation Officer from Balabag and PWD Barangay President, as well as Ms. Cecelia Dumol, PWD President of Yapak. Their participation highlights the active involvement and commitment of the PWD sector in promoting inclusive and responsive disaster risk reduction initiatives.

The collective efforts and collaboration of all attendees continue to contribute in building a safer, more resilient, and inclusive community for all.

The Persons with Disability Malay Federation proudly joined the Municipal Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) in celebrating the 30th National Autism Consciousness Week on January 24, 2025 at Boracay Island 🌊💙

The Autism Walk and mini program highlighted unity, awareness, and strong support for individuals on the autism spectrum. This meaningful activity reinforced the importance of acceptance, inclusion, and advocacy for persons with disabilities.

Together, we walk towards a more inclusive and understanding community 💙🧩

🎉 4th Quarter Meeting and Year-End Party🎉
Person with Disability Malay Federation

The Person with Disability Malay Federation, in partnership with the Municipal Persons with Disability Affairs Office (MPDAO) led by Sir Jeecee V. Maming, DAO II, successfully conducted its 4th Quarter Meeting and Year-End Party on December 26, 2025, at Narra Resort, Nabaoy.

The activity aimed to review the federation’s accomplishments for the year, discuss plans and directions for the upcoming year, and further strengthen unity and cooperation among its members. The meeting was followed by a meaningful year-end celebration in recognition of the collective efforts and dedication of all participants.

🙏 With deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation, the PWD Malay Federation extends its heartfelt thanks to its esteemed sponsors and partners who greatly contributed to the success of this event. Special acknowledgment is given to Honorable Mayor Frolibar S. Bautista, SB Grengo Gelito, SB Vicky Aguirre and SB Christine Hope Pagsuguiron for their continued support and commitment to the welfare of Persons with Disabilities.
