The public is informed that the Kapalongโ€“Talaingodโ€“Valencia Road, located in Barangay Kalagangan, San Fernando, Bukidnon, remains not passable to all types of vehicles.

Although clearing operations have been conducted, continuous soil movement and rockfalls are still being observed in the affected area, posing potential safety risks to motorists.

Warning signs remain in place, and maintenance personnel continue to monitor site conditions. Motorists are strongly advised to take the Bukidnonโ€“Davao (BuDa) Road as an alternate route until further notice.

The public is urged to exercise caution and follow official advisories for safety.

PUBLIC ADVISORY: TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE & TRAVEL WARNING
TO ALL MOTORISTS AND TRAVELERS:

Please be advised that the San Fernando โ€“ Talaingod โ€“ Tagum Road is currently NOT PASSABLE to all types of vehicles.

A significant landslide occurred near "Bulikat Spring" in Sitio Balakayo, Barangay Kalagangan, San Fernando, Bukidnon, completely blocking the flow of traffic.

Key Details:
Status: Road Closed (All Vehicles)

Cause: Landslide and massive rockfall.

Specific Location: Bulikat Spring, Sitio Balakayo, Brgy. Kalagangan.

Clearing Operations: Ongoing.

Important Note: Heavy equipment is currently on-site; however, the removal of massive rock debris is proving difficult and will require extended time to clear safely.

Recommendations:
Avoid the Route: Do not attempt to pass through the San Fernando-Talaingod-Tagum axis until further notice.

Take Alternative Routes: Please use the Sayre Highway (via Buda/Davao City) if traveling between Bukidnon and Davao del Norte.

Safety First: For those already in the vicinity, please follow the instructions of local authorities and avoid staying near mountain slopes, as secondary landslides may occur.

We advise the public to stay tuned for further updates regarding the reopening of this route. Your safety is our priority.
