NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

The Procurement Office of Bulacan State University hereby gives notice to the public that certain individuals have been falsely representing themselves as employees, agents, or representatives of this University and are allegedly offering the award or favorable action on procurement bids in exchange for money or other consideration.

We categorically state that no employee or officer of BulSU is allowed to solicit, demand, or receive money, gifts, favors, or any other consideration in exchange for any award, recommendation, approval, or influence over any procurement transaction. Any person who makes such representations or offers is doing so without authority and for an unlawful purpose.

The public is therefore advised to deal only with duly authorized personnel of the Procurement Office, do not give money, favors, or any consideration to anyone claiming to influence the bidding process, to immediately report any attempted solicitation, misrepresentation, or extortion to the Procurement Office, Office of the University President, or proper law enforcement authorities, and to verify all procurement communications through official university channels only.

Any person who receives or is approached for such unlawful demands is strongly encouraged to report the matter immediately so that appropriate administrative, civil, and criminal actions may be taken.
