Inaabisuhan ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Lalawigan ng Batangas ay magpapatupad ng four-day workweek scheme ng ahensya simula Lunes, Marso 9, 2026, alinsunod sa Department Circular No. 2026-005 o ang “Adoption of the Compressed (Four-Day) Workweek Arrangement”, bilang pagsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 114, Serye ng 2026 ng Office of the President.

Ang operasyon ng opisina ay isasagawa mula Lunes hanggang Huwebes, 7:00 AM hanggang 7:00 PM, habang ang Biyernes ay itatalaga bilang non-working day.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Paalala sa lahat ng covered officials at employees: ipinagbabawal ang paggamit ng government-owned vehicles tuwing Sabado, Linggo, at holidays maliban kung ito ay kinakailangan para sa official functions alinsunod sa DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2026-011, epektibo noong Pebrero 6, 2026.

Hindi pinahihintulutan ang personal na gamit o pribadong lakad, at ang paglabag dito ay maaaring magresulta sa administrative at/o criminal liability.

The Malvar Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) convened today, September 3, 2025, for their third-quarter joint full council meeting.

Topics discussed included the current peace and order situation in the municipality, updates from the Bureau of Fire Protection Malvar, and support for the Philippine government's initiatives to safeguard the West Philippine Sea (WPS). The councils also made significant progress in reconstituting both the MPOC and MADAC to respond more effectively to local challenges.

The agenda also included the DILG Memorandum Circular on the deployment of Tanods in Department of Education (DepEd) schools, a critical measure for maintaining security in the educational institutions; the results of the CY 2024 Barangay Peace and Order Council (BPOC) and Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) Functionality Assessment, as well as the Guidelines for the upcoming CY 2024 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit.
