Helping others through community service projects is at the heart of every Rotarian.
And our goal this year is to make it sustainable with a life-long impact. RCGM partnered with local government officials of Barangay Wack Wack Greenhills and private individuals to initiate a campaign for awareness of fostering and adoption.
RCGM believes that to make it more meaningful and sustainable, we have to be really involve and open to the possibility of extending our love and support through fostering and adoption of a child.
RCGM will assist and hold a quarterly seminar on fostering and adoption, with Rotarians and people from Mandaluyong as their priority audience, and soon-to-be foster parents or adoptive parents.
By doing so, we are creating a way for the children to have a better future in a family set up.
As for the mothers, we are going to train them on how to make Dyario bags from recycled newspapers as their skills, and partner with corporations as their CSR partner.

Dyario Bag Livelihood Project aims at enabling a viable livelihood and sustainable business that provides income to women without jobs.

This livelihood project in Hermosa Bataan was a partnership of Rotary Club of Greater Mandaluyong and Rotary Club of East Rizal.

Trained 30 women, that underwent 2 levels of Dyario bag design.
