ππππ πππππ ππππππππ ππππππππ, a proud member of ππππ πππππππππ ππ₯ππ¬π¬ π¨π ππππ, was awarded the Medalya ng Kagitingan (Medal of Valor) for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life and limb during the nine-hour siege of Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte, on May 4, 2003. ThenβSenior Inspector Hachuela, serving as commander of the 903rd Provincial Mobile Group, courageously led his small contingent in defending the town against heavily armed Moro Islamic Liberation Front (M**F) and Abu Sayyaf rebels who simultaneously attacked the municipal hall, police station, public market, and municipal hospital. Vastly outnumbered and under relentless fire, he organized the townβs defenses, personally rescued the municipal mayor and his family, ensured the evacuation of trapped civilians, and inspired his men to hold the line despite dwindling ammunition.
For nearly nine hours, his leadership and unyielding courage thwarted the enemyβs attempt to seize control of the town. His extraordinary heroism, devotion to duty, and selfless sacrifice earned him the highest honor bestowed by the Philippine National Policeβthe Medal of Valor. Today, he continues to serve with distinction as the Deputy Director for Operations of the PNPβCriminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).
