🎉 Happy 52nd Nutrition Month!
The Manila City Library joins the celebration with this year’s theme:
“Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!”

Before, we only had a short March Nutrition Week. It was replaced so we could have a whole month to focus on good nutrition. This was mandated by law under Presidential Decree No. 491, also known as the Nutrition Act of the Philippines, enacted on June 25, 1974.

✅ What to Do?
Let’s follow Pinggang Pinoy for balanced meals!
Eat your GO, GROW, and GLOW foods:

*GO: Grains, carbs — energy for morning, afternoon, and evening (like rice, bread, or corn)
*GROW: Meat, fish, eggs, beans — build strong muscles
*GLOW: Fruits & veggies — keep you healthy and bright
💧 Don’t forget: Drink at least 8 cups of water daily!
