Poultry hatcheries are high-volume, high-stakes operations. However, many hatcheries still rely on manual methods to manage the health and inventory of chicks.

Offering a more efficient approach, ICOUNT developed an AI-powered system with vision and thermal imaging to count chicks and monitor chick health.

Through DOST TAPI's SPICE program, I-COUNT was one of the featured technologies in the inaugural LEAP East Hong Kong 2026.

Helping farmers increase their crop yields and reduce chemical fertilizer inputs, Nutrio by Fullmight Agricultural Corp. is a foliar biofertilizer with beneficial endophytic bacteria that naturally promotes plant growth and productivity.

Represented by the startup’s operations manager and inventor Dr. Virginia Padilla, Nutrio Wonder is one of the featured technologies in the inaugural LEAP East Hong Kong 2026.

For individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, and other conditions affecting speech, expressing needs through words can be an enormous challenge.

In hopes to address this challenge, Pic-A-Talk developed an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) app that converts visual symbols and images into audible speech.

Pic-A-Talk was one of the featured Filipino startups in the inaugural LEAP East Hong Kong 2026.

Access to critical medical laboratories and technologies remains a massive hurdle for many Filipinos, especially in remote communities where a timely diagnosis can save lives.

Helping close this gap in healthcare is Lab-in-a-Mug (LiaM) 3.0 by The Manila Healthtek Inc. Powered by isothermal technology and an on-board optical detection system, this mug-sized molecular diagnostics device is capable of detecting dengue, leptospirosis, and other infectious diseases.

Through DOST TAPI’s SPICE program, LiaM 3.0 was featured in the London Tech Week 2026 alongside innovations from 130 countries.
