Kema Primary School and Bato Primary School Holds Turn-Over and Installation Ceremony

​On June 24, 2026, Kema Primary School and Bato Primary School successfully conducted its official Turn-Over, Installation, and Welcome Program, marking a seamless transition of institutional leadership.

​The ceremony was formally spearheaded by Public Schools District Supervisor Marylin Tolbe, PSDS, who facilitated the transition of duties and accountability.

​The Kema Primary School and Bato Primary School community extends its profoundest gratitude to Ma'am Delia Bandao, for her exceptional stewardship, dedication, and administrative service as the outgoing School Head. Concurrently, the community also extends a warm welcome to Sir Jan Irvin Kis-ing, as he assumes office as the incoming School Head, bringing with him his prior leadership experience from Bedbed Elementary School.

​The momentous event was heavily supported by vital community stakeholders and education partners:

LOOK | Kema Primary School Participates in the 2026 National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED)
​In line with our continuous commitment to safety and disaster preparedness, Kema Primary School actively participated in the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), June 18, 2026. The exercise focused on equipping our learners and personnel with life-saving skills and emergency protocols.
​During the drill, the school practiced and mastered several critical safety steps:
✔️ ​The "Duck, Cover, and Hold" technique.
✔️​Familiarization with designated exit routes for a smooth evacuation.
✔️​Disciplined brisk walking to ensure an orderly exit without panic.
✔️​Accurate head counting immediately upon reaching the designated evacuation areas.

ICYMI| Palatong ES, Kema PS, and Bato PS held their Parent's Orientation on the first day of classes, June 05, 2026 at Palatong ES H.E. room. Ma'am Delia Bandao, School Principal II of the cluster schools, explained the New Reorganized Three-Term School Calendar, the Safe and Motivating Learning Environment, and the School-Based Feeding Program. Today, we celebrate two major wins: the successful completion of the GRACE E Pretest and the incredible generosity of our school family.

As our learners took a major step forward in their studies, we were reminded of the power of support. To the parent who donated fresh harvest vegetables and prepared a beautiful meal for us: thank you for nourishing our bodies while we nourished our minds. Your selflessness made this day a true celebration of community.
