A series of clean-up drives were successfully conducted in Barangay B. Del Mundo from May 18 to May 23, 2026, as part of the barangayโs continuing efforts to promote environmental cleanliness, proper waste management, and active community participation.
On May 18, a clean-up drive was conducted across six sitiosโLangawin, Landing 1, Landing 2, Centro, Proper, and Laiyaโwith the participation of nine Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), namely Ruperta, Norma, Eden, Marilou, Wilma, Annelyn, Nanette, Melin, and Leizel. During the activity, five big sacks of plastic waste with an estimated weight of 180 kilograms were collected.
Also on the same day, another clean-up drive took place in Sitio Calingagon with the participation of six volunteers. The activity resulted in the collection of four big sacks of plastic waste weighing approximately 32 kilograms.
On May 20, a clean-up drive was carried out in Sitio Canlumon 1 with the participation of ten Barangay Health Workers (BHWs). The group collected two big sacks of plastic waste with an estimated weight of 55 kilograms.
On May 21, a clean-up activity was conducted in Sitio Parang under the leadership of Hon. Edzel Masangcay and Hon. John Ver De Roxas, SK Chairman, with the participation of six volunteers. The activity yielded one big sack of plastic waste weighing approximately 60 kilograms.
On May 22, a clean-up drive was conducted in Sitio Langawin with the participation of ten BHWs. The group collected four big sacks of plastic waste with an estimated weight of 70 kilograms.
Also on the same day, a clean-up drive was held in Sitio Balanga 1 under the leadership of Hon. Ma-an Lomio, joined by five volunteers and 4Ps beneficiaries. A total of two big sacks of plastic waste weighing approximately 80 kilograms were collected during the activity.
Meanwhile, another clean-up activity was simultaneously conducted in Sitio Balanga 2 under the leadership of Hon. Allan Algaba, with four volunteers participating. The activity resulted in the collection of one big sack of plastic waste weighing around 50 kilograms.
On May 23, a clean-up drive was conducted in Sitios Proper and Laiya under the leadership of Gilbert Esteban, with six volunteers participating. The activity resulted in the collection of three big sacks of plastic waste weighing approximately 140 kilograms.
On the same day, a large-scale clean-up drive was carried out in Sitio Landing 1 under the leadership of Hon. Glen Rogel Villanueva, mobilizing thirty youth volunteers. The group successfully collected four big sacks of plastic waste with an estimated weight of 80 kilograms.
Also on May 23, another clean-up activity was conducted in Sitio Centro under the leadership of Hon. Melven Maning, with four volunteers participating. A total of one big sack of plastic waste weighing approximately 30 kilograms was collected.
Meanwhile, a separate clean-up drive was conducted in Sitio Sinampad under the leadership of Hon. Henie Palomar, with the participation of five volunteers and one Barangay Health Worker (BHW). The activity resulted in the collection of two big sacks of plastic waste weighing approximately 90 kilograms.

These initiatives were carried out under the leadership and guidance of Punong Barangay Armando G. Samarita, with the active support of the Sangguniang Barangay and the strong cooperation of community members and partner sectors.
These initiatives highlight the strong cooperation among residents and support the implementation of the governmentโs Kalinisan sa Bagong Pilipinas Program, which promotes environmental responsibility, discipline, and cleanliness in communities.
