**Empowering Second Chances Through Sustainable Livelihood Opportunities**

The Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of MSSD-BARMM LSA successfully conducted a validation and assessment activity on June 9, 2026, in partnership with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Marawi City. The initiative aims to identify and provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), supporting their rehabilitation, skills development, and future reintegration into society.

During the activity, Provincial Coordinator **Rasmiah A. Eppie-Lomondot** shared an inspiring message emphasizing the importance of empowering individuals through livelihood interventions and creating pathways toward self-sufficiency and renewed hope.

The SLP team extends its sincere gratitude to the BJMP Marawi City officials for their invaluable support and collaboration, particularly **J/Insp. Paiza A. Cariga**, Deputy Warden; **JO3 Ali-Khamiene L. Said**, Chief of the Unit Welfare and Development; and **JO3 Norain Alawiya**, Chief of Administration.

Together, we continue to build opportunities, restore dignity, and empower second chances for a brighter future.
