The 𝗖𝗙𝗘𝗦 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 have another reason to celebrate! Our representative in the 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 have officially advanced to the Final Round of the University Literary Competitions.

Through their confidence, eloquence, and critical thinking, they earned a well-deserved place among this year’s finalists. The 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟳, where they will proudly represent the College of Forestry and Environmental Studies. 💚🎙️

A design that represents the pride, unity, and spirit of the College of Forestry and Environmental Studies has officially been chosen.

CONGRATULATIONS to the winner of the CFES Shirt Design Competition! The winning design will serve as the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗙𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁 to be worn during the upcoming Foundation Day celebration. 💚✨

To preserve the integrity of the selected entry, the 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, including changes to the design or shirt type. This ensures that the chosen concept is represented as originally envisioned and approved.

𝕮𝕱𝕰𝕾: 𝕻𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖗𝖘 𝕭𝖑𝖔𝖔𝖒 𝕴𝖓𝖙𝖔 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕱𝖎𝖓𝖆𝖑𝖘

The CFES Panthers have advanced to the Final Round of the University Literary Competitions – English Category after a strong performance in today’s elimination round at the MSU International Convention Center. 🎭✨

Their Readers’ Theater presentation stood out for its passion, creativity, and teamwork, reflecting the theme " 𝗠𝗦𝗨 𝗮𝘁 𝟲𝟱: 𝗞𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮, 𝗞𝗮𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻, 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗸𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀𝗮𝗻.” The Panthers now set their sights on the finals! 💚

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | CFES tribute to parents and graduands

The College of Forestry and Environmental Studies (CFES) of Mindanao State University - Main Campus, Marawi City, Graduating Class of 2026, Batch Pamorawag, successfully celebrated Pananalamat 2026: Tribute to Parents and Graduands on July 27, 2026, at the MSU - International Convention Center (ICC). The event was held to honor parents for their unwavering support and sacrifices for their children.

The program began with the warm welcome of the College of Forestry and Environmental Studies Dean, Dr. Atty. Renato S. Pacaldo, PhD., who proudly introduced the CFES Latin Honors awardees, especially the college’s very first Summa Cum Laude. The celebration became more meaningful through inspiring messages delivered by CFES alumnus and esteemed guest, Atty. Urbano T. Mante, Judge of RTC Branch 46, Alabel, Sarangani Province, and by two outstanding graduates: Orland Phillip L. Salvador, BS Forestry - Summa Cum Laude, who delivered an emotional and encouraging testimonial speech, and Reymond Lorrence R. Gimena, who delivered the Batch Prophecy message.

They shared their personal journeys, experiences, and family struggles to inspire the graduates and parents to pursue excellence despite obstacles, and to continue supporting their children regardless of status.

The program was a celebration of achievement and gratitude as the graduates received their awards together with their beloved parents and guardians, who proudly accompanied their children on stage to honor them. The graduates also expressed their love and thankfulness to their parents during the Parents’ Serenade segment of the program.

Behind every success are sacrifices, struggles, and trials that test one’s self-determination. The graduates can finally harvest the fruits of their long-awaited dreams and hard work. At the end of the program, the graduates took photo opportunities with the CFES staff as well as their beloved parents.

From becoming the first President's Lister of the CFES 56th Batch to becoming the first-ever Summa Cum Laude of the CFES 57th Batch, Orland Phillip L. Salvador continues to make history.

A year delayed before entering MSU and having passed the SASE by only meeting the cutoff score, his journey never began with extraordinary advantages. Yet through perseverance, resilience, and unwavering dedication, he became a first-generation college graduate and served as Editor-in-Chief of The Conservator, the official student publication of the College of Forestry and Environmental Studies, for two consecutive academic years (A.Y. 2024–2025 and A.Y. 2025–2026).

He believes that no one is ever truly late and that everyone has their own right timing and pace. Today, he proves that belief through his exemplary achievements, showing that success is not defined by how early you begin, but by your perseverance, dedication, and determination to keep moving forward.
