𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐃𝐒𝐀 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 back in the time of Late Pres. Ferdinand Marcos, just like how our brave Muslim leaders, Mujahideen, and Islamic revolutionary movements took a stand against injustice and oppression in Mindanao. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞; 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞. These movements, rooted in the values of justice and self-determination, helped spark a revolutionary wave across the Bangsamoro region. 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲. Through struggle, sacrifice, and perseverance, that fight transformed into political victory — the creation of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in 2019.
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲. It is a reminder that protecting what is ours, through unity and faith, can lead to peace, governance, and a future shaped by our own hands.
