As of 2:00 PM today, 25 August 2026, Typhoon "SAUDEL" (formerly "OBET") is being monitored OUTSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Meanwhile, the Tropical Depression "ATSANI" has weakened into an LPA (LPA 08h) and is being monitored OUTSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). It is "UNLIKELY" to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.
