This resilient church in Maribojoc town rose from the rubble in 2013 after a devastating 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit the island of Bohol, Philippines.

And this is how it stands today after a remarkable restoration. The new church reopened in 2021, a testament to hope and determination.

Despite being newly-built, the church maintained its timeless look and Baroque design when the original stones, materials and design were used, resulting in a replica of the original church that was built in 1852.
