Nais po naming ipabatid na ang ilang lugar na sinusuplayan ng Makulapnit Water Source ay kasalukuyang nakararanas ng pagkawala ng tulo or pag kawala ng pressure ng tubig.
Bilang tugon dito, ang Team ng Municipal Waterworks ay Nagsasagawa na ng malawakang pagsusuri at inspeksyon sa Makulapnit Water Source at sa kaugnay nitong transmission at distribution system upang matukoy ang sanhi ng pagkawala ng pressure at agad na maisagawa ang mga kinakailangang pagkukumpuni o pagwawasto.
Habang isinasagawa ang pagsusuri, maaaring makaranas ang ilang mga consumer ng pansamantalang pagkaantala ng suplay ng tubig.

The Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) MIMAROPA has approved Resolution No. 04, s. 2026, establishing the MIMAROPA Regional El Niรฑo Task Force to strengthen regional coordination and preparedness amid the continuing El Niรฑo conditions.
The resolution was approved during the 3rd Quarter RDRRMC MIMAROPA Full Council Meeting held on September 24, 2026, at the Sotogrande Hotel and Convention Center in Bauan, Batangas.
The Task Force will serve as the Councilโ€™s integrating mechanism for the anticipation, mitigation, preparedness, response, and early recovery measures related to El Niรฑo in the MIMAROPA Region.
Its creation is pursuant to NDRRMC Memorandum No. 131, s. 2026, which directs government agencies and Regional DRRM Councils to proactively implement preparedness measures and interventions for El Niรฑo, particularly in the areas of food security, water security, health security, energy security, and public safety.
The establishment of the Task Force comes as the region prepares for the potential prolonged impacts of the current El Niรฑo episode.
According to DOST-PAGASA Weather Specialist Guile Saligo, as of September 23, 2026, the ENSO Alert System is at El Niรฑo Conditions, with a strong El Niรฑo present in the Tropical Pacific. Most climate models indicate that the ongoing El Niรฑo is expected to persist until the first half of 2027 and may reach a very strong state by the end of 2026.
Based on the Dry Condition, Dry Spell, and Drought Assessment and Outlook, the entire MIMAROPA Region is forecast to experience Potential for Dry Condition by the end of October 2026. This may progress to Potential for Dry Spell from the end of November through December 2026, and Potential for Drought from the end of January through March 2027.
Through the Task Force, the RDRRMC MIMAROPA will facilitate coordinated monitoring, planning, resource mobilization, and implementation of interventions across the region in support of affected and at-risk communities.

Unfortunately having high quality, unpolluted water is constantly taken for granted, especially by developed countries, without realizing that many communities around the world continue to face water scarcity and limited access to safe water.

Although this celebration is not an officially legislated or proclaimed observance in the Philippines, it is still important to recognize the value of the limited freshwater resources available to us because having clean water is vital to our individual health, our collective agricultural needs, and the needs of our environment.

โ€ข Naisagawang Aksyon: Mula noong 9:28 PM (Setyembre 24), matagumpay na nakapag-assess at nakapaglagay ng mga WARNING SIGN ang ating responders sa Baliis Spillway.
โ€ข Babala: Mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang pagtawid ng anumang uri ng sasakyan o tao sa naturang spillway dahil sa mataas at mabilis na agos ng tubig.
