Ipinababatid po namin sa publiko na suspendido ang trabaho sa mga tanggapan ng Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) ngayong araw, Huwebes, 06 Agosto 2026, dahil sa patuloy na malakas na pag-ulang dulot ng Tropical Storm Maymay at ng Hanging Habagat.

Alinsunod din ito sa anunsyo ng Malacañang (Memorandum Circular No. 122) para sa suspensyon ng trabaho sa mga tanggapan ng gobyerno sa ilang mga probinsya kasama ang Bataan.

Gayunman, magpapatuloy po ang pagtugon ng ahensya sa anumang uri ng emergency.

Ang pagsuspinde ng trabaho sa mga FAB Registered Enterprises ay nasa pagpapasya po ng bawat nitong executive officers, na may pagsasaalang-alang sa kaligtasan at kapakanan ng kanilang mga empleyado.

In view of the continued heavy rainfall brought by Tropical Storm Maymay and Southwest Monsoon, following Malacañang's announcement of work suspension in affected provinces including Bataan (Memorandum Circular No. 122), work in the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) is suspended today, 06 August 2026.

However, offices whose functions involve the preparedness or response to emergencies, disasters, and calamities shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work in the FAB Registered Enterprises is left to the sound discretion of their executive officers, taking into account the safety and convenience of their employees.

Ipinababatid po namin sa publiko na suspendido ang trabaho sa mga tanggapan ng Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) ngayong Miyerkules, 05 Agosto 2026, epektibo nang 5:00 PM, dahil sa panaka-nakang pagsama ng panahon na nagdudulot ng malakas na pag-ulan.

Gayunman, magpapatuloy po ang pagtugon ng ahensya sa anumang uri ng emergency.

𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐅𝐀𝐁, 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐛𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐤𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐀𝐁 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬

Patuloy na isinusulong ng Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) ang kapakanan ng mga manggagawa at bukas na komunikasyon sa pamamagitan ng isang dayalogo kasama ang Coalition of Labor Unions in Bataan (CLUB), sa pangunguna ni AFAB Administrator and CEO Hussein P. Pangandaman.

Pinasalamatan ni Administrator Pangandaman ang CLUB sa pagiging tulay sa pagitan ng AFAB at mga manggagawa ng FAB, na nagtataguyod ng maayos na ugnayan na mahalaga sa pag-unlad ng ekonomiya, maayos, at patas na lipunan sa FAB.

Sa pulong, ibinahagi niya ang mga kasalukuyan at nakatakdang proyekto ng AFAB upang higit pang mapaunlad ang Freeport, kabilang ang pagpapailaw sa Zigzag Road para sa mas ligtas na biyahe, pagtatayo ng recreational facilities, pagbubukas ng mga bagong food establishment, pagpapaunlad ng boardwalk, at iba pang proyekto para sa pangarap na work-life balance ng mga manggagawa ng FAB.

Muling iginiit ni Administrator Pangandaman na nananatiling bukas ang AFAB sa dayalogo at hinikayat ang mga manggagawa na iparating ang kanilang mga saloobin at alalahanin sa pamamagitan ng labor union.

Aniya, ang bukas at maayos na talakayan ay mahalaga upang maitaguyod ang serbisyong publiko na nararapat para sa kanila - isang serbisyong may malasakit, bukas sa pakikipagtulungan, at tumutugon sa kanilang mga pangangailangan.

Pinagtibay ng dayalogo ang pagsisikap ng AFAB na panatilihin ang bukas na komunikasyon sa labor union at bigyang prayoridad ang mga programa at inisyatibong direktang pakikinabangan ng mga manggagawa ng FAB.
