The NSTP–ROTC Unit of Davao Oriental State University successfully conducted the NSTP–ROTCU Orientation, Class of 2027, on 30 August 2026.
Bringing together the newest members of the ROTC family and the dedicated ROTC Training Staff, the orientation marked the beginning of a journey founded on discipline, leadership, patriotism, and service.

The program featured inspiring opening remarks from MAJ ROWIL A TIRRO, (PA) RES, DOrSU ROTCU Assistant Commandant, followed by a powerful message and introduction from MAJ JOHNARD U SARA-SARA (INF) PA, DOrSU ROTC Commandant. The orientation concluded with an encouraging address from MS. XERA CIEL T AGUILAR-OJANO, DOrSU ROTC Coordinator.

More than an orientation, the event served as a call to rise, lead, and serve—laying a strong foundation for the next generation of disciplined, responsible, and service-driven leaders.
The journey begins now. The mission is clear. Lead with honor. Serve with purpose. 🇵🇭🫡

LOOK // The momentum builds! Today, the Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) ROTC Unit completed its 2nd ROTC Sunday Formation, bringing the training to life with an action-packed field activity at the DOrSU Oval Ground.
Moving beyond basic drills, the cadets stepped onto the open field to put their endurance, teamwork, and tactical discipline to the test. Every movement on the ground pushed them closer to becoming the resilient leaders our nation needs.

Guiding the formation was 𝐌𝐀𝐉 𝐉𝐎𝐇𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐔 𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐀-𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐀 (𝐈𝐍𝐅) 𝐏𝐀, the 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭, who reminded everyone of the dedication required to answer the call of service, alongside 𝑻𝑺𝒈 Januar C Ariem (𝑰nf) 𝑷a, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝑶𝒓𝑺𝑼 𝑴𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝑹𝑶𝑻𝑪 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒇 𝑪𝒍𝒆𝒓𝒌 who stood with the unit throughout the intensive drills. Their combined leadership on the ground inspired everyone to push through every challenge.
The sun was hot, the training was tough, but the resolve of the Corps remains unbroken.
