𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤-𝐭𝐨-𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

In celebration of TESDA’s 32nd Anniversary and Tech-Voc Day, the World Café of Opportunities was conducted on August 25, 2026, at the Provincial Capitol Gym, Mati City, Davao Oriental. The activity was graced by young people from different technical-vocational schools, who came to explore training and employment opportunities. The activity also included a job fair with 183 registered job seekers, with 21 hired on the spot.

On August 27, 2026, another job fair was conducted at the Provincial Capitol Gym in celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026. The activity was attended by 571 job seekers, including young people from different municipalities of Davao Oriental who came in hopes of finding job opportunities both locally and abroad. A total of 73 job seekers were hired on the spot.

These back-to-back job fairs made a positive impact by bringing employment opportunities closer to the people, especially the youth of Davao Oriental. The activities also helped connect job seekers with employers and gave them a chance to explore available jobs and build a better future.

Through these activities, the government continues to promote employment and provide opportunities for the people of Davao Oriental. These efforts show the government’s commitment to bringing its programs and services closer to the community and helping more people find decent and meaningful employment, both here in the Philippines and abroad.
