Ayon sa opisyal na patalastas mula sa DepEd Central Office, ang pagpapaliban ay dahil sa masamang panahon at suspension ng face-to-face classes sa maraming lugar. Layunin din nitong bigyang-daan ang mas masusing paghahanda upang makasunod sa rekomendasyon ng mga child protection at psychosocial support experts para sa kaligtasan at pisikal/sikolohikal na kapakanan ng ating mga mag-aaral. Ang bagong iskedyul ng drill ay ililipat sa unang linggo ng Setyembre 2026 (anunsyo ang tiyak na petsa).
