We might be in the same room but there is no way that I would say this out loud or face to face, because we aren’t built like that..
If you have watched Netflix’s TEACH YOU A LESSON, the first episode ignited within me an anger, a frustration that is not new to us. Why? Because there is a person who stood up for others and suddenly he is the target of criticisms and bullying. That wasn’t enough, because they hold power and can put pressure on anyone, his family lost their living, unable to earn money. What happened to this episode might be fictional but it was like a memory to me. Later on the student committed su***de because the student begged to stop all this and the bully’s answer is for him to die. And because of this, I remember that just last year during the campaign, someone said that after the election my dad would commit su***de. Well obviously he did not commit su***de and is very much alive because he was afterall tougher than that. This was a like story of his life in an episode no one anticipated.
He is a man who stood up for what is right, he was no bully but he won’t let bullies get the best of him.
He was a man full of dreams. A man who dreamt for his family and alongside dreaming for his town, for his city. That was, even as his daughter, amazing to me.
He may not voice his feelings freely to us but he voices out his dreams and vision for where we live. He isn’t just a father to us, but maybe a father figure to the town of Mexico for all time.
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TANG! ❤️
You are an inspiration to us and we love you dearly.
