'JA ANG SK PARA MATUN-AN PAANO ANG HUSTO NGA PAG-SHARE SANG INFORMATION' 💛 🇵🇭

“The world is banking on the youth to become leaders who can redirect what is misaligned and communicate with intention,” Municipal Administrator Percy Moreno-Borro emphasized in her opening message as she addressed students and young leaders at the Miagao Cultural Hall during the ongoing Launching Day of the SKoop! Summit.

She highlighted that genuine communication goes beyond what one hears or reads, pointing to the power of personal experiences in shaping deeper meaning.

Borro reminded young Miagaowanons that even when individuals look at the same object, their diverse lived realities lead them to understand it differently. She underscored the crucial role of the Sangguniang Kabataan in guiding the community toward proper, responsible, and intentional information-sharing.

As part of the ongoing summit, the program opened at 1:00 PM with newsletters, scientific posters, and interactive exhibits that participants continue to explore inside the Cultural Hall in collaboration with the CMS 192 class.

Organizers note that today’s event sets the tone for a series of activities aimed at strengthening youth leadership, enhancing media and information literacy, and showcasing youth-driven initiatives from across Miagao.
