A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the IBP MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL LEGAL AID OFFICE-JIMENEZ
an additional home of the Lawyer of the Day Initiative (LODI) by the IBP —marking a strengthened partnership and a shared commitment to accessible justice and public service.

Through the efforts of Kons Mox and the partnership between the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Misamis Occidental Chapter and the LGU of Jimenez, legal aid services will soon be extended to indigent qualified beneficiaries at the LGU Jimenez Municipal Hall.

This program will serve the entire Province of Misamis Occidental, with Jimenez proudly leading as the first municipality in the First District to implement this initiative.

(DRDF), in collaboration with the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor’s Office in line with the conduct of the third wave of the Longitudinal Study of Ageing and Health in the Philippines (LSAHP Wave 3).

This study aims to better understand the health status and overall well-being of older Filipinos, as well as the key factors that influence these conditions. A newly turned over van for the Mayor’s Office was officially blessed today, marking another milestone in strengthening our service to the people of Jimenez.

For eight years, the previous service vehicle faithfully served the municipality and continues to remain operational to this day. This reflects the value of proper care, responsibility, and commitment in public service.

The story behind this moment is a reminder of continuity and progress. Eight years ago, when Mayor Joselito “Jojo” C. Chiong was still serving as Vice Mayor, the municipality already had a service vehicle. Today, we move forward with a new one, symbolizing growth while honoring the past.

This new vehicle will continue to support efficient delivery of services and strengthen the mobility of the Mayor’s Office in serving every Jimeneznon.
